Draupathi: You should Open a new account with higher Criteria. Pay close attention to the types of accounts offered at FBS. Usually, the larger the deposit in the account type, the greater the advantage of that account type because not all traders can use this account type. For example, at FBS there is an ECN account with a minimum deposit of $1,000. I believe there are advantages to this account type compared to standard, zero spread or micro accounts. At some hybrid brokers I know of, accounts with minimal deposits are usually the dealing desk type, while accounts with large minimum deposits are thrown to the liquidity providers. This is done because most traders open trades without the proper trading knowledge so they don't have huge capital or even if they have, the account doesn't last more than 6 months. It is these types of traders that brokers take advantage of to counter their positions because they will lose a large proportion of the time. On the other hand, pro traders build accounts slowly until the capital gets bigger.
