Order Execution - Forex Broker Testimonials

Please tell me what's up with eToro; I can't even open or close positions in the stock market. I have validated my profile, and of course, I have funds in your location; the market is also open. So poor in order execution with eToro. I have not yet contacted customer service. It appears that another user is having the same issue here.

I've been waiting nearly a week to close a position because it won't let me and always pops up with an error, my computer and my internet are not the problems, I have checked every day. I contact support but still no response. This is completely unacceptable when people have invested money in your platform. Please fix it; order execution is rigged in such a way that we are losing money!

I am disappointed with Etoro and I think the order execution there is so annoying. While the trade is open, the TP and SL cannot be changed. some moments I can't open or close the position also there are numerous disconnects while the trade is active. I was there and saw enough to know that this is not a tool that a real trader would use. If they can fix this issue, I will back to using eToro but if they don't fix that, don't hope I will come back. Thank you!

I have execution experience in eToro. About 3 months ago, everything went smoothly, but then suddenly I was unexpectedly unable to close a position with a good profit. It froze and I don't know why. So I decided to wait for about five minutes, the issue was resolved, but as you know the market volatile makes me lose my chance to take a good profit all because of this freeze-close execution that has been occurred, so once again I had to wait a little longer before I could close the position with a profit. I have emailed them and they responded to my email by claiming that my firewall was what was blocking the execution. I don't think that's true because before the issue occurred, I'd always used the same firewall and computer. So, for me 2 stars for this freezing market execution from eToro.

Really bad slippage! I wonder if they actually have a Limit Order or not. I have seen these happen to quite a lot of people these days, so I guess they don't. Best hope you don't make an order with more liquidity than is available in the market as for scalpers this broker is horrendous.

The commission fees are enormous, especially on their Raw Spread Account. Damn, it only started on 0.0 pips at the beginning only. The rest? we'll who knows? Just chalked it up to the market's volatility. Always the volatility.

Anyway, I haven't contacted their customer service about this yet. I pretty much give up and decided to switch brokers although I haven't found a good one. This has seriously given me trust issues.

I can't believe they did me dirty. Relly-really dirty. 

I was trading around NFP, my strategy allow me to trade around big news like this. I was opening a position in the USD/CAD, and my MT4 Charts in Admiral Market were completely frozen for 9 minutes! 9 minutes! I am a scalper and my position was open for that long! it was truly worse!

Why do IC Markets keep closing my trades without any notice at all? Recently, my position for WTI (Crude Oil) was closed automatically without any prior notice. When I ask customer service about it, they said the particular WTI Contract has EXPIRED and there are no rollovers. While I might understand the conditions, it just surprised me that they didn't send any notifications beforehand. I was devastated because I have a long-term plan, and now all of that has gone under the drain.

I am absolutely disappointed in IC markets. I have been trading with them for years and these days they have been nothing but disappointing me. I was trading during high-impact news. Suddenly, I noticed that the price moved 560 points in one direction and 540 point in the opposite direction from the opening price within a minute, which is totally normal on a high volatility news event. But, wait, it doesn't stop there. The next morning, I open the chart and It showed me a move of 229 points in one direction and then 689 points in the opposite direction of the opening price. Which is completely different than the night before.

Apparently, the broker can at any one moment in time close your position without your consent. If you ask them, they will claim that they are "disposing" of the "product". I feel like this is their business model. They will let you secure a small trade where you will win some profits. That's how they got you hooked, and then when you finally started trading for real, this "problem" happened. Suddenly, you are not winning. They will tell you stuff like 'oh trading si so risky bla bla bla' but they won't admit that their system is rigged.

I am very disappointed with how they handle my order. The story was, I place an order in EUR/USD pair with pending order where I put stop loss & take profit (I always care about these things, I never forget). However, once my order fills the stop loss is removed, causing me to lose more than 25% of my account. Naturally, I contacted them, but they said I didn't have a stop loss! What an absolute lie! I never forget about these things. They were very adamant so I decided to quit and leave this broker. Never again!
