At first, they will 'hook' you in with smooth low spread and quick order executions. But then the problem begins. Soon, they will begin to increase the spread many times, just to auto-close and stop out on small accounts, although they claim to be the best ECN broker. A lot of time you will have hard times trying to withdraw YOUR own money. And when you ask the customer service they will either tell you to wait or told you that there is a problem on your part. They do not comply with their product disclosure statement. They also have mobile trading apps that have a lot of bugs and are just very unreliable.

This is one of the best brokers for beginners in my opinion and not just because of their heavy promotions across social media. There are several reasons why I think new traders should try XM:

1. Good spreads, great for those who have just started venturing.

2. Customer support is very good and understanding, you can ask anything and they will reply fast.

3. Platform is very easy to navigate.

4. Educational material has really good quality! Great for those who want to learn more.

Tips: I wouldn't suggest being involved in any of their bonuses, schemes, IB, and so forth. Just plain straight trading and you will be fine. Applies to all brokers.

During my time as a trader (about 5 years now), I have tried different kinds of brokerages (ECN, STP, different regulations, and stuff). But in all of those years, I have never found 100% honest ECN brokers. That being said, IC Markets is definitely one of the best I have ever tried. They have a good execution, great platforms (for all MT4, MT5, and cTraders), normal spread, and swap. That is the best that you can get in a broker, you'll be surprised to find how many wants to screw you over.

Regarding customer support, I think they have the best in their class. They answer you in less than 5 min and solved most of my problems or normal issues that all traders had. (Stupid answers, deposits, withdraws, laws, etc). They are not perfect by any means, but definitely one of the best you can get in the market right now.

I can't open a position on XM

I think I have been with numerous brokers in the past 5 years but nothing comes close to Blueberry Market yet and I have only been trading with them for about 6 months. Honestly, in the beginning, I didn't expect anything, I think their platforms are great but nothing special. But it all changes when I experience some login problems. I had to contact the customer service and feels very annoyed with the problem, however, they were very quick in answering my chat and were very caring. I got my issues solved in a second which is a very rare quality these days. I trully hope they will keep up the good work.

After months I can finally conclude that I have a great experience trading with IC markets, albeit not perfect. The product and price performance is great, different account types are available and also the technology you need for the trading is available in the client area on all of their trading platform I have tried. Algo or EA trading is working without problems, so far I have never experienced any noticeable problem. Although I want to warn people to always calculate their risk before using it. The customer service experience is great, the people are and were always friendly, helpful and I never was left with an unsolved problem until we had a solution. Yes, it's not perfect, for example, withdrawal can be complicated but the money will still be transfer to you.

I can't log in to my account since yesterday, there is no information about maintenance or anything regarding this error. For information, I mainly use my MT5 accounts, but I also own an MT4 and cTrader account as well. All of them have the same problems. I have contacted customer service through live chat, but I haven't got any useful information. Has anyone ever experienced similar problem?

Honestly, they aren't perfect but still one of the best I have tried so far nonetheless. Well, at least they didn't lie about having a low spread. I have to give them credit for keeping their spreads super tight despite the market conditions. However, sometimes there might be a slight on the trading platform which can lead to loss, especially for scalpers like me. It doesn't happen that often but it is still supper annoying when it does. But, well I guess as long as they keep their spreads low I will stay with them.

People have been asking me about FXOpen, so I guess I'll try to write a review about them. I have been trading with this company for more than one year. So far, they have proven themself to be a good and reliable broker among others that I have tried before. Right now, I have 2 ECN accounts with 5 and 6 digits balances. I think that the commission rate, platform, speed everything is good. You can say that this broker is suitable for new traders, or everyone who basically doesn't want to spend too much money on trading. This company doesn't have 24/7 online services, which means help is available to you all the time.

I've read a lot of bad reviews about IC Markets, and I don't know if I should stay or move to another broker. So far I have never experienced any of those things. It will be very hard for me to leave IC Markets since I really like their spreads and ECN things. I also like how smooth and affordable the deposits are. I also got really  used with their trading platform as well.
