Deposit and Withdrawal - Forex Broker Testimonials

IC Market has been making me frustrated lately! For some reason, I keep having trouble withdrawing. It's as if they don't want me to get my money at all. The fact that it has been happening more than once got me considering moving to another broker. They keep telling me that they 'lost my fund', whatever that means. They are trying to frame it as if it's my problem when it's supposed to be THEIR responsibility. They should be able to locate my money, after all, they are the ones that keep it. It's been two months and I am losing all hopes.

In the beginning, it was really good. My deposit went very smoothly and there are no problems that occurred during this process. My funds appear almost instantly in my trading account. Even when I'm trading, everything seems to go very well and hassle-free. I think I must have found a reliable broker. But, sadly the problem arises when I'm trying to withdraw my money. They just won't let me get my own money. I tried to ring the person who originally phoned me from Oanda some time ago. Only to find the number is not valid anymore. A tip, you might want to file a small claim against them and report to the FCA if you experience this.

Not gonna lie, I was interested in IC Markets because they advertise themselves as 'raw spread brokers'. Let's be real, who doesn't like small spreads? In the beginning, it all went very smoothly, the spreads are actually good and there are no problems with withdrawing (it's very important that I get my own profits). But then, I noticed that IC Markets increases the spread many times, just to auto-close and stop out on small accounts, despite claiming to be an ECN broker. Problems keep happening, I have difficulty in withdrawing the funds from my account to a bank account. For some reason, do not comply with their product disclosure statement.

Lately, IC Market service has been really bad, and I don't know what to do about it. For example, a week ago I submitted a withdrawal request to my account. For some reason they keep declining it, this happened more than one time. I was so confused because I think I have already completed all the necessary documents. That lead me to question the customer service, and they only said that it was a mistake. Sure enough, after that my withdrawal process is approved. But it took such a long time that I had to ask their customer service again. That is very annoying.

My money keeps getting stuck in my trading account, it's unreasonable. I can't withdraw it and I have been trying for months for this. I have asked the customer service but they are blaming my banks. They said the bank refuse to do it, but I find this odd since I have been using it for years. I don't know why they suddenly have problems with it.

Has anyone ever experienced this? I will explain it in chronological order.

Several weeks ago I deposited some funds for my MT4 account in IC Markets, but it didn't go through.

I contacted customer service and they said they will be doing something about it, but after a while, I receive no updates regarding the situation.

Because there are no updates, I send another email and I haven't received any answers about it.

How long does it takes to get an update? Will I ever see my money again? It's not much but it's about trust.

It's good that IC Markets have good spreads and affordable commission fees. But, there are several reasons that make me question this broker. For once, why do you let people deposit from skrill if you can't let them withdraw from it? It doesn't make any sense to me. I tried another withdrawal method but it was also full of troubles. Second of all, please reduce your slippage! It's insane how much I suffer only from slippage! It makes trading during super volatile markets more dangerous than it already is. Third, customer service is really bad, I don't think the team understands anything about trading despite my reasoning and explanations.

They use to be so good but now they are just like any other brokers. I just keep having problems after problems with them. Recently, they canceled all my profits including the remaining amount that had stayed in my account after the previous withdrawal. This is coming out of nowhere considering several months ago I still making withdrawals and everything was OK. Five months later I made a second withdrawal and everything went wrong. I've read in some forums that this happened to people who are making a profit regularly but I don't know for sure. Just very disappointed.

It's been 4 weeks and I still haven't got anything new about my withdrawal process. I actually place a withdrawal request and it doesn't appear in my account until the next day. So I decided to contact the customer service but the operator only told me to wait. I thought there must be some error and that everything should be great soon. But, that wasn't the case so I guess I need to wait for something to happen, with no perspective from their end on how long I need to wait. This is something very disappointing because it makes something appear very clearly, they are a mess. I am very sure when it comes to clients' money management, you need at very minimum an SLA support system giving something solid to the customer to hang on to, at least a timeframe.

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing. So, about a month ago I deposited some money to my IC Markets account via SKRILL. It goes very smoothly and I was satisfied. Now I want to withdraw my profit into my SKRILL account but it seems to be very difficult. I don't know if it's even possible at all. I have contacted customer service and they said they will do something, but there hasn't been any update. What is the best method to get my profits?
