In my opinion, they are one of the best brokers for new traders like me. When I first started, I don't understand how to use the MT4 platform at all despite people keep saying that the platform is very easy to use. However, the customer service helps me patiently. I was really glad that I decide to contact them in the first place.

Okay, I need a solution to this problem. So far I have never experienced this before, so it's really taken me by surprise. I was trading USD/CAD several days ago and I place a buy order. At first, everything goes very smoothly and gradually headed my direction but all of a sudden it turned around, and in a flash of one candle my account was blown. It goes as far as leaving a balance of -21.51 dollars in my trading account. I wouldn't be mad if I didn't suspect a foul play here. However, I have another account in a different broker in which I open similar positions and I didn't lose that much. Even with the slippage, it's still crazy.

A few tips for new traders who are on a journey to find the perfect broker: there is no perfect brokers.

However, there are some features you might want to look at when you choose a broker. For example, spreads, commissions, deposits, withdrawals, and for me customer service also plays a big role. So far, IC Markets has fulfilled most of my needs. Spreads are great, deposits and withdrawals also went smoothly, their customer service is also great. But I find their commission fees a little bit on the expensive side. However, that is a price I am willing to pay since they have great order executions. There are some minor problems like jumpy price charts or server trouble, but I also have these problems in other brokers. So far, trading with IC Markets has been outstanding.

How to log in to an active FBS account on a PC?

I believe that ICMarkets has falsely advertised their withdrawal system. I don't understand what happened, but my money disappear only to 'mysteriously appear' at the Automatic Trading section of the MT4 to cause a radical change in the results of operations. Right now I have reported them to the ASIC regulation, but I don't think there will be any help at all.

I have tried a lot of brokers, but no one comes close to ICMarkets. They have satisfying spreads, great order executions, and very good platforms. But for me, the most important part is that their customer service is very accommodating and friendly. Also deposits and withdrawals were never problematic.

I don't understand why my platform keeps freezing during an important time. In the past IC Market has had one of the best trading conditions I have ever tried. But now their service has just gotten worse and worse. Just last week I was keeping an open position on my MT4 account but somehow, my charts is freezing and didn't do more at all. I know this because I checked with my positions in another broker (I open a similar order). Then I looked away for a bit and suddenly it fell down 2 pips!

IC Market's server is totally unreliable. It froze when there is a big news release, it's a very important time for me. In fact, it froze for more than 15 minutes! How am I supposed to place an order like that? I know that the market is crazy during those times. But you would think that a company as big as IC Markets would prepare something to protect traders against that condition, not to mention they are regulated by ASIC. But nope! They just let it slide. It is very disappointing to loose huge during the most crucial time.

Aside from smooth withdrawal, quick order executions, and easy deposits, IC Markets also have remarkable trading platforms. I think this is the balanced broker that I have been looking for. Although sometimes I find the commission can be expensive ($7 per round), but the spread is pretty great especially for raw accounts.

In the beginning, I had really high hopes for eToro because I heard they have great service. But, it turns out it's all lie. They advertise themselves as a free trading platform, but the spread and execution are truly awful. It doesn't stop there, their customer service is basically non-existence. Every time I ask about something all I get is automated copy and paste templates. Glad I haven't invested a lot of money in them or else I might lose my money. I might withdraw all of my money and move to another, better broker.
