In the beginning, they were a very good company, Trusted, honest, and have a very exquisite customer support system. But, then somehow they changed, and I started to have difficulties trying to withdraw money from this broker. Then they have a very high slippage in the spreads, more than 300% in some cases. This company has dropped a lot in quality and it's getting worse. A lot of my order wasn't executed properly, causing me to lose a lot of important opportunities. I don't know what happened, but I am not sure if I want to come back.

I was gaining a big profit but suddenly this broker close my positions without any further explanations. In the end, I lost a lot of money, it was a long-term position too! I was pouring all my blood and sweat into this trade.

Worse things happened when I decided to contact the customer support team. They swear up and down that they didn't know anything about it. Well, I honestly don't care. I just want them to do something. They just keep me waiting for a long time to finally tell me that there is nothing they can do about it.

To say that I'm disappointed would be an understatement. That was a lot of money.

Has anyone had a bad experience trading with IC Markets related to broker liquidity? I heard some reviews from other users that they had some losses trading at IC Markets because of their liquidity. I myself have only joined IC Markets for a few months, I have never experienced this.

The thing you have to know about IC markets is that if you are not from Australia, there is a high chance that your account might be managed under the Seychelles regulations. If this isn't the problem with you then move along. I was originally trading with them because I thought I will be protected under ASUC regulations, should have known it wasn't possible. Anyway, I haven't actually got any problems trading with IC Markets besides the occasional server halt. But I see it happened to other trades as well so I think it's more of a server connections problem rather than a scam.

I'm a victim of this broker. Every day I profit around $5000. There's no problem when I profit $50-100 but when I use large and consistent lots of $5000 - 10000 per day, problems started appearing. My account was destroyed. For those who defend IC Markets, it's because you use 0.01 lots of small profits of 0.1 lot while I trade with 5-10 lots.

IC Markets is not up to par. You better stop associating with this kind of horrible broker. I was opening a position until suddenly got MC-ed, even though the price had not yet reached the margin level. I checked with other brokers and no one stopped at that price level. IC Markets was cheating.

I opened at 1795 but 45 mins later I profited 50 pips. Then I switched SL to breakeven and turned off my phone. Two hours later my position was closed after touching SL, however, my position was at 1774 or 200 pips from SL. I should've earned 200 pips but got SL-ed. Help me.

Honestly, they aren't perfect but still one of the best I have tried so far nonetheless. Well, at least they didn't lie about having a low spread. I have to give them credit for keeping their spreads super tight despite the market conditions. However, sometimes there might be a slight on the trading platform which can lead to loss, especially for scalpers like me. It doesn't happen that often but it is still supper annoying when it does. But, well I guess as long as they keep their spreads low I will stay with them.

I recently won a small trading contest from Tickmill and I really grateful for the experience and small gift. But honestly, they are one of the best brokerages I have ever traded with. I have been trading with them since 2018, and since then their quality keep improving for the better. I think this broker is good for scalpers since their order execution speeds are very quick, and they also have tight spreads. Not to mention deposits and withdrawals are very smooth here. I would suggest anyone who wants to test out their trading skills to try the Tickmill trading contest. It's really good for your experience.

Originally I joined this broker because they claim to be the true ECN brokers. Normally, ECN brokers will execute orders fast therefore I can get the best price with no risk of requoting. But, I think they are pretty slow. So to make sure I am not imagining things, I open the same positions at another broker. With the same lot, pair, and everything. My suspicions are correct, the ic market platform is consistently slower in opening and closing trades. In fact, it can take up to 15 seconds, which is insane for scalper and short-term traders. Especially because I trade in a super liquid markets, that means my chance of losing is even bigger.
