Despite high volatility on Monday night, three indices managed to recover. NASDAQ climbed to a high level above 13,500, while Dow and S&P 500 show similar movement.

There was a very interesting and volatile session for the American indices yesterday. In the afternoon they dropped heavily, but then they managed to rise. In the end, both S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 finished the day significantly higher than they started. On the other hand, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was much weaker. During today's Asian trading session all three of them dropped, but then they managed to rise. From the data front, the CB consumer confidence index will be published. Anyway, let's move on to the analysis, S&P 500 first:

S&P 500

There was a very interesting session for the S&P 500 yesterday. In the afternoon the price tested the S2 support level, but then it quickly managed to rise to the R1 resistance level. It finished the day slightly below it. During today's Asian trading session the price dropped below the Pivot Point and the EMA 200. However, this morning it managed to bounce. If the buyers continue generating firm demand, the price might attack and hold above 3,850 today. But if they don't, the price could even drop to the S1.
