I use them a few years back and they were very good at the time. I left to try another broker, but I decided to return a few months ago only to find out that they have changed a lot. Sadly, not for the better. You see, I had some problems regarding server delays that keep happening, obviously, this is annoying me. So, I did what every good trader would do, protesting to the customer service. To my surprise, they didn't seem to understand anything I'm talking about. They can't even answer a simple question and with 1 time put me on hold with no answer for 15 minutes during live chat.

Originally I never had any problems with IC Markets, until they suddenly increased spread to 9600 pips, which happened in August. I thought that they must have cheated me, so I decided to slide into the live chat and tear them a new one. But then I learned from another trader that there is a huge price drop that happened on the pairs that I'm trading with. So I was willing to let go. However, when I opened a support request with IC Markets and provided them with a price comparison of other big brokers, and IC Markets compensation for this price difference (several thousand USD). They treated me absolutely fairly, therefore I consider them an extremely honest broker that esteems their clients. I was honestly surprised and didn't think they would be this accomodating!

This is what my experience is like with IC Markets:

Weeks ago, I open a position with spread around 2 pips. But this broker suddenly decided to increase the spread of the pair to 30 pips for two seconds resulting in stop-out, I lost almost 7k totals. Then after I close my positions, the spread dropped to 10 pips immediately after a few seconds. I checked with another broker (I also open the same positions in another broker and there is no problems). I show this evidence to their customer service but the response doesn't make any sense. The main point is, they refuse to compensate me.

Lately, I notice there is recurring server disconnects in Icmarket's trading platform. I have to say I am quite disappointed, I am a scalper and I can't say that these delays work in my favor at all. Sometimes the lag is over 20 seconds long, it's really annoying and it has cost me some losses. I have place stop loss but it didn't help at all, I'm not sure that it actually does something after all. I have talked to their customer assistance service, but I don't think it's really helping me. I wonder if other traders also experience this problem? I already checked my connections through several methods and I belive that there is no problem with my internet. So, it has to be a trouble on the Icmarket's side, not mine. The reason I didn't give them 1 star is because in the past they were very good and legit broker. I hope they can live up to their standard again.

So I am a new player in trading and I wasn't quite sure how to create a broker account. I also don't really know what to expect. Some of my friends suggested IC Markets, so I did. It's true, creating a trading account was super smooth here, as well as the deposit. But I made mistake and forgot to select the Islamic account. I panicked because I was really worried about the swap. I talked to the customer service, thinking that there is nothing that can be done about it. To my surprise, I was assisted to convert my account to an Islamic account. I appreciate the service and assistance ICMarkets have offered to me.

I use the Neteller payment system with IC Markets, so far there haven't been any problems with it. But, my friend who has just started trading with this broker tells me that he's been having withdrawal problems, but he uses a local bank. So I told him to switch to Neteller and it went smoothly.

Compared to another broker with the same specifications that I have tried before, Ic Markets is definitely the winner. Their low spread is far more consistent compared to other brokers, and this is very important to me. Because most of them promise a raw spread, but when the market volatility changes, the spread is also changing. They also have good assistance 24/7, I know people keep saying that having good customer support is a must and not something to praise. But I still think it's remarkable how they handle things. Would recommend highly to other traders

I don't understand this broker at all, they have been making the same mistake to me twice. During those times they refuse to take responsibility for both errors on their parts. The story was, that a trade was executed when I was away from my phone it took most of my account with it due to a margin I categorically did not place. They are trying to put the blame on me when it was clearly a malfunction issue with mt4 or their server. Even the customer service is a joke and did not offer any solutions at all.

My money keeps getting stuck in my trading account, it's unreasonable. I can't withdraw it and I have been trying for months for this. I have asked the customer service but they are blaming my banks. They said the bank refuse to do it, but I find this odd since I have been using it for years. I don't know why they suddenly have problems with it.

At first, they will lure you in, pretending to be a great broker. And for a while they are, they have great spreads that stay consistent despite the market's condition. Even the order executions process was super smooth and quick. When I started, everything was perfect and suddenly the problems began. That sudden change occurred after I made profits several times. Suddenly their 'perfect' order executions change, it starts with a then they just don't execute my order. I thought something was wrong with my desktop, reloaded it and the pause was fatal for my deals. I ask them what is happening but they didn't give me a good answer. It's such a pity, they have all the potential of being one of the most innovative brokers, but they choose not to.
