XM collaborates with Reach for a Dream Foundation to help give Christmas gifts to critically ill children.
In celebration of Christmas, online broker XM visited children at the Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa, with the help from Reach for a Dream foundation, to put a smile on their faces. Children with life-threatening conditions could enjoy a surprise Christmas party at the hospital's playground.
A professional entertainer from Reach for a Dream performed magic tricks and jokes, and the children enjoyed fun games and playing with each other and the foundation volunteers. The Reach for a Dream foundation allows anyone to help fulfill more dreams or children who need help. Each child received a gift bag filled with tasty treats, coloring books, markers, toys, and other things to brighten their days. The youngest received stuffed animals as a gift. These experiences help these children stay strong throughout the exhausting battle against their illness because they remind them they are loved.
