XM sponsored an urgent surgery for a one-year-old girl in Vietnam who suffered a serious disease.

XM CSR program helped a toddler to have surgery in Vietnam. The little girl whose, named Kha Han, was diagnosed with a tetralogy of Fallot. It was a fatality disease that affected the heart's structure, causing oxygen-poor blood to flow out of the heart and to the rest of the body.

In working on this program, XM partnered with Vinacapital Foundation (VCF), a USA-registered and international non-governmental organization in Vietnam. Founded in 2006, VCF's mission is to create healthcare and education solutions to assist underserved and marginalized children and women.

XM decided to help Kha Han as she comes from a poor family and within an urgent situation. The surgery has done very well, and Kha Han can have a better future with better health. XM reported that earlier this month, Kha Han was in recovery. XM and VCF paid the payment for surgery and the intensive treatment in the hospital.
