Beginner's Guide to Tickmill VPS

Feb 2, 2023
Tickmill has developed a VPS in collaboration with BeeksFX. Customers of Tickmill are eligible for a discount of 20% on any VPS package.

Tickmill is a regulated online broker that offers a respectable range of over 80 financial products for online trading. They provide you access, across all of your devices, to an ion of trading platforms that are both highly professional and simple to use. My research led me to discover that many tools are available for performing in-depth market analysis and producing automatic trading recommendations.

Tickmill trading circumstances, which include very low spreads and costs and swift transaction execution speeds at the best available market prices, have left an impression on me that I find quite impressive. You can pick from a wide range of customizable account types and handy payment methods when it comes to quickly and easily filling your account.

Tickmill VPS

You'll be able to keep your trading platform up and operating remotely around the clock with the help of a virtual private server (VPS) that Tickmill has developed in collaboration with BeeksFX. If it is not feasible for you to have your computer turned on at all times, this solution may assist you in running expert advisers around the clock.

Customers of Tickmill are eligible for a discount of 20% on any VPS package. A third-party provider hosts my Virtual Private Server (VPS). I find it a very helpful tool for keeping my automated systems operational around the clock without requiring my computer to be powered on. Axi is also one of many brokers offering a free VPS.

Funding Tickmill

Tickmill provides its users with a wide variety of options for making deposits and withdrawing funds, including bank transfers, credit cards, and various online payment processors. These may be handled from inside the customer area of the website. You must use the same method to make the deposit when withdrawing.

Please be aware that certain procedures can only be accessible from within certain nations. I appreciate that we can utilize digital wallets since this method enables me to access my cash quickly and with the least hassle. If there is some market news event that I want to try to take advantage of, I wouldn't want to wait days for a bank transfer to clear since, by that time, the chance would have passed.

Final Verdict

In general, I found Tickmill to be a very advanced online broker that was, at the same time, quite easy to use. They also provided a professional service appropriate for traders of all experience levels. The spreads and commissions are among the lowest in the industry, and the accounts are adaptable enough to meet the requirements of a wide variety of traders. Because they are regulated in several jurisdictions, I am free to concentrate solely on my trading, and should I want assistance, the support team is easy to get in touch with.

Tickmill is the brand name of Tickmill Ltd. which offers trading services with premium products and innovative technology. Superior trading conditions, ultra-fast execution, safety of client funds, and dedicated support are at the forefront of their offering.

First of all, I obtain information on Tickmill in this website. In fact, I'm not that impressed with the trading terms they offer as the spreads aren't that competitive for me. But what's still interesting is the leverage they offer up to 1:500 is very high with a $100 minimum deposit guaranteeing fast market execution with no requotes or slippage. Trading with them certainly isn't a bad choice, but I'm not too impressed with the spread either.

But I'm not at all interested, but there is a service for his VPS, which the author described in this article. I mean, it ticked me off, so I'd like to know what features I get if I buy a VPS package on Tickmill? And do I need a specific account to use this service?

Ronnie : No need for the confused or curious dude. It's a VPS, which means you can trade remotely using another computer (server) without installing the Trading Platform and EA on your PC. You are essentially borrowing another computer to trade. And this has advantages for transaction like:

  • Ensure security, as you must enter a password to access the VPS.
  • Open 24/7
  • If your PC goes down or maintenance, you can still use another PC to enter the VPS to trade with it.0

If you're not an EA trader, that's nothing special. I mean why you have to borrow someone else's PC just for normal trading and it's free remember, VPS is not free

@Ronnie: Hey there! If you decide to purchase a VPS package from Tickmill, you'll enjoy several features and benefits. A VPS (Virtual Private Server) allows you to run your trading platform and expert advisors (EAs) remotely, ensuring stable and uninterrupted trading even if your own computer is turned off or experiencing internet connection issues.

With Tickmill's VPS service, you can expect reliable and fast connectivity, which is crucial for executing trades without any interruptions. It ensures that your trading activities are not affected by potential power outages, internet disruptions, or other technical issues. This way, you can have peace of mind and focus on your trading strategies.

Now, regarding the account requirement, Tickmill offers the VPS service to all live account holders. So, you would need to have a live trading account with Tickmill to be eligible for their VPS service.

By utilizing the VPS service, you can take advantage of enhanced trading capabilities and automation without worrying about technical disruptions. It's a convenient solution for traders who rely on EAs or those who prefer to have their trading platform running 24/7.

As you said in the article, VPS allows me to trade even when I'm not using a computer right? This means that if I trade with the EA, I usually have to turn on the PC, but with the VPS I can even turn off the PC and my EA will still work, right?

So for a normal merchant, is it necessary to have a VPS? I mean, if it increases the efficiency of trading, I am willing to pay for Tickmill VPS but if VPS is only used for EA trading, I will not use it.

Sorry for asking too much. Because I need to know what the products and services I buy are for

Milan Roana:

I think you need to know about VPS first. In fact, not only VPS is available in Forex but many other things that require you to run it remotely in case your computer crashes.

I can describe VPS like this:

Imagine if you have one high spec PC and the other you have very low PV sepc (wooden PC). You can control and use your High PC by accessing it only through High PC's Internet connection. You can basically control another PC with your wooden PC. The same goes for VPS, so you can install EA Trading through another computer you have connected. Thus, the other PC becomes the server and runs 24 hours a day for 7 days without your computer doing it.

Read about VPS here: The Beginner Guide To Use VPS

So the question for you is: do you really need to trade around the clock, and what are the main things you also need to trade with an EA?

If you want the EA to monitor your trades for 24 hours without interruption, then VPS can be a very good choice. You are better off using VPS for trading than turning your PC into a workforce that leads to the death of your PC and also don't forget your electricity bill. However, if you do not have this package, please ignore this feature

SO, I can easily expect my money to come instantly if I deposit in Tickmill, right? Because the article says that the author can access the funds quickly and does not need to wait days for their digital wallet deposit to arrive. This means that in tickmill it is highly recommended to use an E-Wallet, right?

And what kind of E-wallet can I deposit at Tickmill? and what time since I withdraw, the money can arrive on my account? And one thing that most important in the e-wallet transaction, it is free of fees or not?

Thank you!

Millen

Jaya: Yes, depositing to Tickmill is quick if you use the e-wallet method. You can choose between: Skrill, Webmoney, Fasapay, Netteller, QIWI and Netteller. The time required for processing is one business day. And it also took 1 day to complete the deposit process..

In my opinion you should use E-Wallet to deposit to tickmill, as the bank transfer will reach your account within 4-8 working days. This means it takes up to 10 days to arrive

The comments section of the article provided some valuable insights into the VPS (Virtual Private Server) service and its benefits. It emphasized that getting a VPS is particularly worth it for traders who use Expert Advisors (EAs) and those who require high-speed execution.

Now, when it comes to speed, I'm curious to know how fast the VPS offered by Tickmill is compared to their standard account. In other words, what kind of performance and latency can traders expect when using Tickmill's VPS service? It would be helpful to understand the speed and reliability of their VPS in order to assess its suitability for my trading needs.

Rayson

May 27 2023

@Jurgen: When it comes to speed, Tickmill's VPS service is designed to be lightning fast, mate. They understand the needs of traders who rely on Expert Advisors (EAs) and require swift execution. With their top-notch technology and infrastructure, they aim to provide traders with a seamless and reliable trading experience.

Now, the actual performance and latency you'll experience may vary a bit depending on factors like your internet connection and where you're located. But rest assured, Tickmill is all about efficiency and minimizing anys in order execution.

Remember, when considering a VPS service, it's important to think about your own trading needs, mate. Take into account factors like speed, reliability, and the level of support you're after. That way, you can make an informed decision about whether Tickmill's VPS service is the right fit for your trading strategies.

Hey there! I heard that Tickmill offers a cool feature called the VPS beginner package, which lets traders keep their trading platform up and running remotely all day long. They've teamed up with BeeksFX to develop this virtual private server (VPS) solution, so even if you can't keep your computer turned on all the time, you can still run your expert advisors without any interruptions. By the way, Tickmill customers even get a 20% discount on any VPS package they choose. I find it super helpful to have a third-party provider hosting my VPS, as it keeps my automated systems operational 24/7 without needing my computer to be powered on constantly. I also heard that Axi and some other brokers offer a free VPS service. Isn't that awesome? So, could you give me more insights about the features of Tickmill's VPS service specifically designed for beginners and how it can enhance trading efficiency? Thanks

Hocky

Jul 12 2023

@Robert: Tickmill's VPS beginner package, developed with BeeksFX, is a cool feature that can enhance trading efficiency. In my opinion, it's super helpful for beginners who want to run their expert advisors (EAs) without keeping their computers on all the time. With Tickmill's VPS, your trading platform stays up and running 24/7, even if your PC is off. It offers reliable connectivity, so you won't face disruptions or connection issues when executing trades. Plus, it's easy to set up and provides enhanced security measures. Tickmill even gives a 20% discount on any VPS package, which is awesome. Although some brokers like Axi offer free VPS services, make sure to check the terms and conditions as they might have limitations. In my opinion, Tickmill's VPS service is a great option for beginners to boost their trading efficiency.

Have some questions about the Tickmill VPS. Given the option of a virtual private server (VPS) like the one offered by Tickmill in collaboration with BeeksFX to keep your trading platform operational 24/7, how do you determine whether it's necessary for your trading needs? What factors should you consider, such as reliance on expert advisors, the feasibility of keeping your computer running continuously, potential power or internet disruptions, security concerns, technical expertise, costs, and specific trading strategies that might make a VPS crucial, as well as alternative solutions and their suitability for maintaining uninterrupted trading operations? And also does the BeeksFX also regulated from the same regulator as Tickmill's?

Jota

Oct 29 2023

@Lidya: I can't answer exact answer to you. Whether you need a virtual private server (VPS) like the one Tickmill offers with BeeksFX depends on various factors. If you rely on automated trading strategies, struggle with keeping your computer running 24/7, face power or internet disruptions, or have security concerns, a VPS can be a smart choice. It's especially handy for strategies that require constant operation. However, it comes with a monthly cost and may require some technical expertise. Keep in mind that VPS providers like BeeksFX aren't typically regulated in the same way as brokers, so it's a good practice to verify their regulatory status directly with them. A VPS is a valuable tool to maintain uninterrupted trading, but assess your specific needs and trading style to determine if it's necessary.

This review is based on my time using them. In my opinion, this broker is the best in the market. They demonstrate professionalism, competence, and honesty and provide exceptional customer service. Their withdrawal process is fast, offering one of the lowest spreads available. I have been a customer for nearly four years and am completely satisfied. I highly recommend this broker to everyone. I would like to give a special shout-out to my account manager, who has always assisted me.

I have been requesting a withdrawal from Tickmill for a week now. I have already made three requests using the exact deposit bank details, but they have failed. I have sent emails and contacted support through chat, but I have not received any response regarding the reason for my failed withdrawals. Is there any reason why it's not coming through?

I have become increasingly dissatisfied with Tickmill due to the following reasons: The take profits (TP) feature is not functioning correctly. Despite their claims of being an "ECN" broker, the functionality of the TP does not align with that. Their system does not allow you to close a trade when you are in a profitable position, but it conveniently allows closure when you are on the losing side. Despite contacting them about this issue, they conveniently ignore my inquiries and respond to...

Depositing funds was a quick and straightforward process. Additionally, they provide the option to open an account using a business license, which is beneficial for those looking to utilize their company's funds for trading purposes. However, there have been instances where the spread for gold has been considerably large, resulting in pending orders not being triggered. Moreover, the stop loss feature does not consistently execute tightly, often closing trades a few pips beyond the set stop loss level. Unfortunately, I have...
