How to Join the Contest
The Traders Awards contest is available to all existing clients, but before you participate, make sure to meet the following requirements:
- Open a live premium account with HF Markets.
- Have an account balance of at least 500 USD/500 EUR/150,000 NGN/50,000 JPY depending on the currency of your trading account.
- Apply for the contest before the 7th business day of each month.
Once you joined the contest, you will have the whole month to aim for the top spot. The winners will be announced in the following month and the prizes will be available to claim shortly after.
Terms and Conditions You Should Know
- Each HF Markets client can only participate in the contest using one trading account.
- The winner may only claim one Traders Awards prize within 3 month period. So if the client has received a prize before and it has not been 3 months since then, they will not be eligible to claim the prize. The client with the next highest gain will be named the winner.
- At the end of each period, the client's account will be automatically registered for the next period, but only if it has a balance of 500 USD or more. If the client wishes to stop participating in the contest, they simply need to send a request to [email protected].

- The winner of the contest must bear the responsibility for any taxes that may incur from the contest prize.

Let's say I win the contest and earn the title as winner of the month June. Does that mean I can't participate for the next months, since the rule says that the winner of this month won't be able to claim the prize if they've already won the previous month. Also, I want to know whether the cash prize is withdrawable or not. Because I know some popular brokers that offer high prizes, but they don't allow traders to withdraw unless they complete a ridiculous amount of trading volume. And lastly, do you guys think this contest is worth to try?

I believe you can still participate in the contest, but you won't be able to claim the cash prize twice within the period of three months. So, let's say that you win in January and again in March, then you won't be able to claim the second prize because it hasn't been three months yet. As for your second question, the cash prize is withdrawable, so I think it's a very worthy reward. But you can also use the bucks to trade if you want. It would definitely give any trader a big boost to their trading journey.

Dude, I think you should try this contest. There's not much to lose anyway. If you win, you can get a crazy good deal of a prize. If you lose, you can always try again next month! Just remember to stay rational with your trades. Do not push yourself too far until you overtrade. Trust me, it could drag you down really fast. Just think of the competition as a reward for performing well that month. This way, you won't be trapped in greed and overconfidence.

I must say, I'm pretty amazed by the dedication that the broker puts into this contest. I mean, $1000 a month and no entry fee?? That sounds like a dream for every trader out there, not to mention that the requirements like the minimum balance are also quite reasonable in my opinion. However, now I'm wondering whether the premium account type is suitable for me or not. For a record, I'm a scalper, but I have only been active in the last few months. Hi there. I'm glad that you mention this topic because some people might think that this contest is available to all existing clients of HFM, while in fact it's only open for premium account holders.
As far as I know, the premium account is designed to accommodate experienced traders, so it may not be suitable for everyone. Its key feature is the flexibility in position sizing with a limit for a single trade size being 60 lots. The spreads start from 1 pip, the maximum leverage is 1:2000, and the maximum number of open orders at the same time is 300. If it's your first time trading with HFM, I suggest you start with the Pro or Zero account. The latter is particularly good for scalpers, high-volume traders, and EA traders mainly because of the extremely low spreads starting from 0 pips.
