Introduction to Vantage Demo Contest
The Vantage Demo Contest 2023 is a time-restricted promotional campaign that's available to both new and existing clients of the broker, except those who are from Australia and the UK. As the name suggests, this campaign requires each contestant to compete using their STP demo accounts in MT4 with USD as the account currency. This contest started on the 1st of July 2023 and will end on 31st of July 2023.
In order to participate, all you need to do is sign up with Vantage and register as a participant for the contest. Then, you are free to trade with and aim for the top spot.
For a starter, the broker will give you $10,000 virtual money, which you can use freely to gain as much profit as possible through trading. Note that contestants are not allowed to make further deposits into the account.
By the end of the period, the contestant with the highest profit amount will be declared winner. In order to be eligible, they must open at least 3 trades during the contest period.
Vantage offers a total cash prize of $4000 with the following details:
- 1st winner: $2000
- 2nd winner: $1000
- 3rd winner: $500
- 4th-8th winners: $100
Aside from that, the top 10 contestants with the highest gains are also displayed on the broker's website. The Current Ranking list is updated daily at 10:00 AM (GMT+7).

Contest Rules
- Each contestant must be registered with the broker and agreed to the terms and conditions.
- Each contestant can only use one account to compete in the demo contest.
- The contest is available to all products on the platform.
- The contest is only applicable to STP demo accounts in MT4 with USD as the account currency.
- Complete at least 3 closed trades to be eligible for the prize.
- Trading positions must open for at least 2 minutes to be counted in the competition.
- All trading positions will last for the whole month until the last day of the contest. Vantage will close them all at the last quoted price (long orders will be closed at the bid price and short orders will be closed at the ask price).
- Contestants are not allowed to make further deposit into the account.
- Contestants who have participated in previous contests and won a prize may rejoin the contest but will not be able to claim more prizes. If the contestant wins a prize for the second time, the prize will be granted to the person of the next rank.

How to Claim and Withdraw the Prize
All cash prizes will be credited to the winner's live trading account. To claim the prize, each contestant must follow these steps:
- Open a live trading account with Vantage.
- Complete the verification process by submitting the required documents such as Proof of Identity and Proof of Residence. Make sure that the information used to enter the competition is the same as the details in the identity verification.
- Read and accept the terms and conditions.
- Wait for approval from the company.
The cash prize will be transferred to the live account as a form of credit, which can only be used to withdraw. However, the contestant can only withdraw once they trade with a lot amount of 1% of the prize amount received.
So, if the contestant wins the $2000 prize, they must trade at least 20 lots to withdraw the prize money.
After completing the trading requirement, the contestant must submit a withdrawal application via email to [email protected]. The request will be processed within 3 business days.

Personally, I think the demo contest is great, but it's not necessarily for beginners. As mentioned in the article, you need to have the right skills, knowledge, and discipline in order to win. Keep in mind that the contest is available to everyone regardless of their expertise level, so it's simply an open arena. You must compete with traders who might be professional millionaires for all we know. That being said, do you guys think such competition is still worth to try? What exactly are the benefits of participating if you know that you're not gonna win anyway?

I'm sorry but I must disagree with you.. In my opinion, this type of contest is perfect for beginners. Why? Because it has no entry fee, which means it's completely free, and it uses a demo account, which means it's free of risk. Beginners can definitely use this as an opportunity to improve their trading skills. Rather than aiming to win, you can aim to learn and improve. If you're consistent with your trades, I believe you'll get there eventually. You'll get to the point where you're confident enough to aim for the top spot and consider yourself as an "expert". Yeah dude. You may not win now, but if you keep practicing, you will! Demo account is literally designed as the place to practice trading because it allows you to trade without investing any real money. You can try any strategy and any currency pair you want.
Here's the thing. Forex demo contest allows you to trade on a demo account AND get a chance to win real money as well. If you win, you keep the prize. If you lose, you lose nothing. I think it's a win-win situation for everyone :)

Very interesting! I've heard so many good reviews about this broker, some of my friends are using this broker too, so who knows? Maybe I'll register myself after this. I have a question about this contest though. Considering that the event lasts for a whole month, will the broker inform us if we win? Since it's a demo contest, I figure that a lot of traders probably forget that they're in it and don't check the rankings all the time, so I think it would be nice if the broker still notifies each winner if they win (even though the announcement is also available on the website)

Ah yes you're totally right. I think the author forgot to mention this but the winners will indeed receive an email notification from the company regarding the prize if they win. The email is the one used during the registration period. If the winner fails to be qualified within 5 business days after receiving the email, the company will cancel the prize and give it to the next person. So always check your email!!! Don't forget to keep tabs on the Top 10 Rankings on the website as well to stay updated with the current position.
