XM had just announced a new change on its Webtrader feature. The Cyprus-headquartered broker has been providing this kind of platform for some time already, but then decided to update the web-based platform with a structural transformation. This latest update highlight a quite interesting transition as XM went from Sirix to MT4-based Webtrader. What's different from XM Webtrader this time? And what kind of trading features we can get from the new platform?

From Sirix To MT4

Platform provider is the most notable difference between the old and new XM Webtrader. Previously, it is plain clear that the web-based platform in this broker is provided by Leverate, a service provider for forex brokers that launched Sirix Webtrader. Even though there was no direct reference to signify the provider's identity, traders can easily discover it since everyone, even a non-client, can take a look at XM Sirix-based Webtrader as a guest. The ability to check on how the platform works without even registering for an account is apparently provided in every other broker who also uses Sirix Webtrader.

But now, XM broker has made it official that its Webtrader platform is now supported by MetaQuotes. This enables XM web-based platform to have a similar interface and operate like MT4, which is a traders' first choice for trading platform application. So why won't XM team up with MetaQuotes in the first place if it is that popular? Well, it appears that MetaQuotes was kind of late in progressing to browser-based platform, as it had just launched its first version of Webtrader last year. This reason may justify MetaQuotes' lack of popularity among Webtrader users.

Yet, MetaQuotes' project to develop Webtrader platform showed the company's intention to keep up with its competitors. If all is progressing well, we may anticipate MT4 Webtrader's improvement to catch up with Sirix and cTrader, the two examples of Web platform that seem to be more-established at the moment.

Available Features

XM WebTrader is supported in 7 languages in the meantime, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Germany, Russian, and Spanish. The broker plans to furnish with more trading features in the future. For now, the web-based platform is equipped with all types of trading orders, real-time quotes, customizable price charts, 9 timeframes, and basic analytical objects.

The downside only comes from its unavailability for non-clients. It is considered as a step back since the previous version from Sirix allows everyone to at least look into XM WebTrader concept as a guest. To check the lastest version of XM Webtrader, traders can register for demo account and login with the MT4 ID account that is also applicable for access to other XM platforms.

I encourage traders of this broker to explore the entire platform. XM offers a lot of tools and features that can help a traders experience. Starting from the education on the platform which is great, the broker also offers several bonuses and intruiging trading account types. On top of that, there is copy trading here, and a couple of contests that confident traders can participate in to win some cash. It is not the main point of trading but it...

That is a full-fledged trading platform. Srsly, I can't even think of something missing here. Over a thousand of trading instruments, nice leverage size and quite tasty bonuses. When I entered trading with the XM, I had already had a solid sum of money, so I received their two-tier bonus that included 50% + 20% at once. It's an appealing thing to increase capital under operation this way.

Easily one of the best forex brokers I have ever experienced. Although I believe they are more suitable for newbie traders. I am sure many people know them because of their extensive marketing everywhere. But they have a pretty decent service. Good trading cost, not too steep, and a good education program to support young traders. However, some of my professional traders do not enjoy using them. But, I could not say anything in their place. I guess it's something...
