eToro has modified its eToro Money crypto wallet, where several tokens should be converted to other supported crypto assets before the deadline.
eToro, a social trading provider and multi-asset investment company, has introduced some changes to its services as of March 26, 2023. The company, headquartered in Israel, has applied different services in its cryptocurrency wallet.
The crypto token conversion service will be discontinued. This means that eToro Money crypto wallet holders will no longer be supported to convert their crypto assets to other crypto assets.
The following eToro crypto tokens will no longer be supported on the eToro Money Crypto Wallet as of the date mentioned above:
- AUDX
- CADX
- CHFX
- CNYX
- EURX
- GBPX
- GLDX
- HKDX
- JPYX
- NZDX
- PLNX
- RUBX
- SGDX
- SLVX
- TRYX
- USDEX
- ZARX
If you have any of the tokens listed above in your eToro Money Crypto Wallet, you can convert them to one of the supported cryptocurrencies. Suppose you have not converted your tokens by March 25, 2023, at 23:59 GMT. In that case, you will be refunded the USD value of your eToro crypto tokens at the rate available to eToro at the closure time, directly into your eToro investment account, not more than seven business days.
These reimbursements are due to goodwill instead of any legal or regulatory requirement. Therefore, eToro advises traders to manage their assets beforehand for their convenience.
Suppose you hold the aforementioned tokens in a location other than the eToro Money Crypto Wallet. In that case, you can return them to the Wallet by March 25, 2023, at 23:59 GMT, and convert them to one of the supported cryptocurrencies.
