Nov 28, 2022

This is why most traders use additional trading tools in to help them improve their performance and make better decisions. Every tool is designed to serve a specific purpose or reach a certain trading goal. In this post, we're going to introduce you to a brilliant tool offered by easyMarkets that can help traders to execute orders at the desired price. But before going further into the tool, let's meet the broker first.

What is Freeze Rate?

Freeze Rate is one of the unique features offered by easyMarkets. It allows you to "freeze" the price for about three seconds, giving you a buffer time to execute the order at the price that you want. While it may sound so short, these few seconds can actually make a huge difference in online trading, especially when trading in a market as volatile as forex or cryptocurrency. This tool is available on the broker's proprietary platform and can be activated by clicking the "Freeze Rate" button before opening a position.

That being said, the main advantage of Freeze Rate is that it gives you extra time to perform your trade. You can use it at any time, but it is most useful during high volatility periods, such as prior to huge news announcements or big market events like central bank announcements. The more volatile the market is, the more those precious seconds are worth. And for this reason, Freeze Rate is highly suitable for intraday traders or those who tend to perform high-frequency trades within the time of the day.

How to Use Freeze Rate on easyMarkets

1. Log in to your trading account and open the trading platform. Click on the instrument you'd like to trade on the right side of the screen.

2. Click "Freeze Rate" between the BUY and SELL buttons to pause the price.

3. You will get a three-second buffer time to perform your trade, and a bar will display the duration of the freeze.

It should be noted that you are allowed to freeze the rate multiple times, but there might be a small until the price is updated. Always check carefully before you open positions.

Summary

Freezing the price can be worth a lot in online trading, even if it's just a few seconds. It is undoubtedly an attractive option for all clients, especially intraday traders and those who trade volatile markets like crypto and forex. It allows you to execute orders at the price you want and help you gain higher returns.

Aside from Freeze Rate, easyMarkets also offers several other innovative features to help traders manage their positions, such as easyTrade and dealCancellation. You can visit the broker's website to check the purpose of each tool. Make sure to pick the tools that match your trading style and are able to help you achieve your trading goals effectively.

easyMarkets was founded back in 2001 when the only way to trade was through a physical trading room. Since then, the broker's purpose was to give market access to anyone that wanted it. They ended up fundamentally changing the online trading industry in several aspects with their "simply honest" basic philosophy and business model.

Before delving into the freeze-rate feature, which I didn't expect to be very helpful for traders, I want to know about the safety of trading with EasyMarket. The article states that EasyMarket is regulated by ASIC and CySEC. As a beginner who is not familiar with regulations and regulatory bodies, I would like to know if EasyMarket is a safe broker. How safe are ASIC and CySEC, and what measures are in place to protect my funds with EasyMarket? I would appreciate an explanation on this matter. Thank you!

I think you are questioning about the safety of your funds and your trading, right? Let me answer your question. So, EasyMarket is regulated by ASIC and CySEC, two trusted organizations that make sure brokers follow strict rules to keep traders' money safe. To regulated, you need to fulfill some terms before the body regulator can regulate the broker.

So, when you trade with a regulated broker like EasyMarket, you have extra protection for your money. ASIC and CySEC require brokers to keep client funds separate from their own, and to be part of compensation funds that pay traders if the broker can't. So, you can consider EasyMarket a safe broker to trade with.

As the note to make sure you how the safety to trade with EasyMarket and the ASIC itself, you can read my explanation below:

So, if a broker wants to operate in Australia and offer financial services, they need to get an Australian Financial Services (AFS) license from ASIC. To do that, they need to meet a few requirements.

  • Firstly, they need to have a good reputation and be of good character - no dodgy operators allowed! ASIC will check out the broker's directors, officers, and employees to make sure they're all good people.
  • Secondly, the broker needs to have enough money and resources to run their business properly. They need to have a bit of cash in the bank, some good risk management systems, and decent insurance to protect their clients.
  • Thirdly, they need to play by the rules. ASIC has a bunch of rules that brokers need to follow, and they need to comply with all of them. It's all about being fair, transparent, and doing the right thing by clients.
  • Fourthly, the broker needs to protect their clients' money. They need to keep client funds separate from their own, and be part of compensation schemes to protect clients if something goes wrong.
  • Finally, the broker's employees need to know what they're doing. They need to be trained and competent to provide good financial advice to clients.

So, that's the deal with getting an AFS license. It's all about making sure brokers are doing the right thing and looking after their clients.

I understand how the freeze rate feature works. According to the article, in order to obtain the desired exchange rate, we need to open a trade within 3 seconds. The freeze rate feature from easyMarket addresses this issue by allowing traders to lock in the desired rate for 3 seconds. This is particularly useful for intraday traders who are looking to make quick and frequent trades.

I agree that the freeze rate feature can be a helpful tool for traders. However, I do have a question about whether this feature is available on all of the trading platforms offered by easyMarket. As the article does not specify which platforms support this feature, it would be helpful to have this information before deciding whether to use easyMarket as my broker.

Dude, this kind of feature is only available on the easyMarket platform, whether you're using the web trader or mobile app. In addition to the freeze rate feature, easyMarket also offers deal cancellation. You can read the deal cancellation feature at this article : Deal Cancellation on EasyMarket!

Furthermore, the website states that the easyMarkets platform is user-friendly and versatile, with a range of features suitable for both beginner and experienced traders. They offer guaranteed stop loss, fixed spreads, no slippage, and no fees for deposits or withdrawals. You can even try out the easyMarket platform with a demo account!

Based on the article, I have formed some opinions about the Freeze Rate offered by easyMarket. Firstly, I believe that in the Forex Market, if the trading price is paused, the currency pairs must be highly liquid. This means that if the currency pairs are liquidable, you can get the price immediately or even later, with a of a few seconds. However, it may be difficult to freeze the rate for less liquid pairs such as exotic pairs. Therefore, I am curious to know if the Freeze Rate feature can freeze all the currency pairs and any trading CFD in easyMarket, or if it is only available for certain currency pairs. Can you please provide an explanation? Thank you.

After trying out the Freeze Rate feature with some major currency pairs, I found that it worked well. EasyMarket's website indicates that the Freeze Rate feature is available for Forex and all trading CFDs. However, I recommend using this feature on more liquid currency pairs, such as major pairs, as well as possibly gold trading. This is because short-term trading requires assets that are highly volatile and liquid in order to generate profits consistently from frequent trades.

As the article suggests, the Freeze Rate feature is particularly useful for intraday traders. With this tool, intraday traders can freeze the exchange rate for a few seconds to open and close trades at their preferred rates. This can help to reduce slippage and minimize losses. The Freeze Rate feature can also be helpful for traders who want to avoid sudden price movements that can occur during high-impact news releases.

When I first read about the Freeze Rate feature, I was impressed by how advanced and innovative it is. According to the article, it really lives up to its name - you can pause the rate for 3 seconds and make an open position. This is particularly useful for intraday traders, who typically engage in scalping or day trading. However, I'm not sure if scalpers can use the Freeze Rate feature effectively.

So, to clarify, can scalpers take advantage of the Freeze Rate feature as well? Especially for 1 minute's scalper.

Justin

YES! It is absolutely yes! The Freeze Rate feature on EasyMarkets can be helpful for scalpers as well. When a scalper spots an opportunity to open a position at a particular price level, they can use the Freeze Rate feature to temporarily lock in that price for a few seconds. This means that even if the market moves against them during those few seconds, they will still be able to open the position at the original price they wanted.

For scalpers, timing is crucial and every second counts. With the Freeze Rate feature, they can take a little extra time to make sure they are getting the best price possible without worrying about sudden price changes. This can help improve their chances of making a profit on each trade.

It's important to note that the Freeze Rate feature is only available for a limited time (currently 3 seconds), so scalpers will need to act quickly and decisively.

Hey, I just read the article and learned how Freeze Rate works. It's really helpful for scalpers to get the price they want. Based on my experience, market fluctuations can make it hard to get the desired price, and using instant execution takes time and isn't suitable for scalping. Freeze Rate allows for quick decision-making based on real-time market conditions, which is crucial for scalping. As the article explained, Freeze Rate is particularly helpful for intraday traders, including day traders and I agree with that!

In the beginning EasyMarkets was a good broker, I almost never had any issues with them. But things has since going south and I have found myself getting disapointed over and over again. I recently made a fortune of around 5000 GBP, and I want to withdraw. But they keep making it hard. It's almost like they don't want me getting my own money. Lately I found that this company was formarly named Easy Forex or something, and have bad...

I just want to say that I really like their customer support service, really good and understanding. EasyMarkets' system is really easy to understand and great for beginners.

This is actually a good broker, but sometimes they took too long to close positions (about 10 to 15 seconds). That might be something to consider especially for scalpers.
