Three generations LCFC fans win a ticket to visit King Power Stadium after obtaining first prize reward at the FBS contest last December.
A family of LCFC fans managed to get the chance to tour the King Power stadium after winning the grand prize at the New Year Football Rush hosted by broker FBS. FBS is an international broker with a reach in more than 150 countries and a clientele of over 22,000 000. FBS is also an Official Principal Partner of Leicester City.
In December 2021, FBS broker collaborated with Leicester City to organize a special contest for football fans called the New Year Football Rush which took place between December 15 and December 22. The main winner of this contest will be entitled to a pair of tickets for the January series of LCFC football matches and the King Power Stadium tour.
To participate in the contest, participants are required to wish friends a happy new year while inviting them to a football match in the comment column of the company's social media account. The grand prize will go to the author of the most touching congratulation.
FBS announced Mary Malins as the winner on December 23. Following the terms of the contest, Mary was able to invite nine more people to join her on the King Power Stadium tour. Mary chooses her family members and dedicates her winnings to her father, Bob Fearn, an 88-year-old soccer fan.
Mary said this gift came on their first Christmas without her beloved mother. She added that her father is a lifelong Leicester City fan and had been a local referee until he was 79 years old. Bob Fearn introduced football to three generations of his family, so winning this tour was a remarkable experience for all of them.
Mary goes on, saying, "We have had a wonderful time at Leicester City Football Club. The tour was conducted by John, and he gave us a fantastic time. Thank you so much for your kindness in choosing my dad. He enjoyed his time as we all did."
