As the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Lisa Shemie, with her 20-year trading experience, will manage OANDA's global legal department.

Previously serving as Cboe's Chief Legal Officer, Lisa Shemie was a member of several working groups under the Global Foreign Exchange Committee, which is in charge of the FX Global Code.

With her new position as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at OANDA, she oversees the firm's legal function globally. In addition, she will also serve on the executive committee of the multi-asset broker.

Shemie has served on the Financial Markets Lawyers Group, co-chaired the CFTC's Market Risk Advisory Committee's Market Structure Subcommittee, chaired the Foreign Exchange Professionals Association, and was a member of several working groups under the Global Foreign Exchange Committee.
