After three years as COO at PrimeXM, now Georgiev is based at OANDA's London office to be its Head of Product Operations.

After leaving a COO position at PrimeXM, Galin Georgiev has now become Head of Product Operations at the OANDA office, the largest forex and CFD company in London. He joined PrimeXM in October 2019 and has overseen its operations for three years.

His appointment was made shortly after OANDA performed a branding reshuffle. The broker further expanded its services by launching a cryptocurrency trading service in the United States by partnering with Paxos.

Georgiev has brought more than two decades of trading industry experience to his new role at OANDA. Previously, he worked with several other forex brands and even major financial services companies. His most notable experience was at Saxo Bank for 12 years. His journey first began when he joined the company's Danish office at the Institutional Center. Later, he moved to the Cyprus office as Head of Commerce for one of its divisions. After that, he left the company as a Senior Manager and Business Analyst which was a role he held for almost seven years.

According to Georgiev's Linkedin profile, he entered the industry as Head of Trading for Varchev Finance, a London-based financial services firm, then joined Societe Generale Expressbank in Bulgaria as Business Project Manager.

Before Georgiev, the ASIC-regulated company had several other additions to its executive roles in recent months. In September, the broker appoints Jessica Beckstead, former FXCM executive, as Managing Director for North America and CEO for the United States. Philip Waters becomes Head of APAC and Emerging Markets and Mark Chesterman becomes Chief Risk Officer.
