Oanda now offers retail clients in emerging regions access to its CFD instruments for UK and US stocks.

Following the surging interest in CFD, the multi-asset broker OANDA has expanded its CFD offering in its global markets division by adding share CFDs on US and UK-listed equities. This is in addition to CFDs on various asset classes, including indices, forex, commodities, metals, and bonds.

The FX and CFD broker has already offered share CFDs on European equities, but the latest addition expands the trading options for clients, who can now use CFDs to gain exposure to prominent US and UK stocks.

Recently, traders have been allowed to trade CFDs on individual company shares, such as Vodafone in the UK and Tesla, Amazon, and Apple in the US, thanks to the expansion of product offerings.

Phil Waters, Head of APAC & Emerging Markets, remarked, "Interest in CFDs has been surging globally as they offer traders and investors the opportunity to profit from price changes without owning the underlying assets. CFDs give exposure to markets that are trending downward and upward, allowing traders to take positions even when volatility is high. Enabling clients to build leveraged exposure to the most popular listed corporations, including many familiar US companies across various sectors, provides them with valuable diversification opportunities."

Founded in 1996, OANDA provides online multi-asset trading, currency data, and analytics to retail and corporate clients worldwide, exposing them to global market indices, commodities, treasuries, and precious metals.
