After obtaining Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) license from Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), eToro clients in France are now able to experience crypto trading with the broker.

The European branch of the eToro broker announced that clients from France can now directly invest in crypto assets and trade them alongside other trading products. This happened after eToro succeeded in obtaining a license as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) from Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), the French financial industry supervisor.

The license was obtained two months after the total number of cryptocurrency assets on eToro reached 62. eToro explained that the registration demonstrates its commitment to cooperating with regulatory authorities to comply with rules and regulations.

Emmanuel Sackmann, eToro's Regional Manager for France, said the goal of the network is to get more people to invest. Sackmann added that the multinational company supports all regulatory measures that protect retail investors without excluding those who benefit the most or hinder innovation.

"We are very proud to have received this registration from the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). France is an important market for us, and we are delighted to be able to offer our French users direct access to crypto-assets as part of a diversified portfolio of investments," the Regional Manager said.

In addition, the Israeli broker also raised between $800 million and $1 billion in private funding rounds. This funding round will be one of the largest in the history of an Israeli technology company if it is successfully completed. Funding is expected to raise the valuation to between $5 billion and $6 billion.
