BDSwiss has appointed a Former HFM Executive for four years, Christos Fylaktou, as Regional Head of Business Development in Africa to carry out its business expansion.

BDSwiss has expanded in various global markets, including Africa, having abandoned market opportunities to introduce its products and services. To strengthen its presence in the African market, the multi-asset company announced the appointment of Christos Fylaktou as Regional Head of Business Development for the African region.

Fylaktou started his career in the FX and CFD markets for eight years, being an account manager at IronFX as his starting job. Before his appointment, he was a marketing executive at BDSwiss Madrid and Spain, joining in late 2021 to continue to benefit from the unique characteristics of BDSwiss and its evolving technology offerings.

Before joining BDSwiss, he had four years of working experience at HFM (formerly called HotForex) as a Senior Business Development Executive in Africa. He has also held Executive positions at Salex Spa and FXCM and as Chief Analyst at DailyFX. Most of his professional experience focuses on analytical skills and operational knowledge of the forex market. Other experience is as a Marketing and Public Relations Consultant at KC Firiakis Services in Cyprus.

BDSwiss has grown as an international provider of online FX and CFD trading for ten years, with over 1000 trading instruments and a client base spanning 180 countries. In his new role, Fylaktou will lead business development efforts outside the company's Cypriot office to continue to turn a profit, build relationships with African customers and partners, and execute strategic plans to grow the company.
