In January, Tickmill provided a philanthropic contribution to the Academic Affairs and Student Welfare departments at the University of Cyprus to assist financially disadvantaged students.
Students are to receive financial assistance in housing, living expenditures, educational material, and other necessities thanks to the donation, which will be used to provide such assistance.
The UCY Student Welfare Department provides annual financial assistance to three hundred students. In this case, eligibility is determined by the student's family wealth, status, health concerns, and other factors. During both high inflation and an energy crisis, Tickmill's donation will presumably be able to provide some much-needed relief to the students.
