Australian broker Pepperstone was named the sponsor of the ATP Tour with the introduction of ATP Live Rankings to help track player's journeys.
The global governing body for men's professional tennis, the ATP, has announced that Melbourne-based FX and CFD broker Pepperstone will become the ATP Tour's official online trading partner.
Pepperstone's partnership with Tours as a Platinum Partner allows the broker to be present at 11 events across the ATP Tour season, leading up to the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. Pepperstone will also be promoted throughout the year through ATP's social, and digital channels broadcasted worldwide.
The partnership kicked off with the launch of Pepperstone's ATP Live Rankings, a new feature that allows fans, players, and media to track day-to-day real-time rankings of match results. First launched in August 1973, the rankings serve as a key barometer that determines player rankings, tournament entries, and seeds in men's professional tennis. The rankings also provide a narrative that connects each level of the men's professional game all over the season.
The introduction of Pepperstone's ATP Live Rankings marks the most significant addition to the ATP rankings as it helps track a player's journey to qualifying for the Nitto ATP Finals at the end of the season.
In addition to the rankings, Pepperstone is also the naming partner for the all-season Race To Turin, Race To Milan, ATP Cup Standings, as well as the official partner of the year-end No.1 event in the singles and doubles categories.
