Jul 4, 2023
Interactive Brokers has announced an expansion of its market access by adding Nasdaq Copenhagen and the Prague Stock Exchange (PSE).

Leading global electronic broker, Interactive Brokers has announced a significant expansion of its market access by adding Nasdaq Copenhagen and the Prague Stock Exchange (PSE) to its trading platform. This strategic move will grant the company's clients access to a comprehensive selection of over 150 markets worldwide, further strengthening their investment opportunities.

The US SEC-regulated broker is introducing fractional trading for eligible Nasdaq Copenhagen shares to enhance trading flexibility. This groundbreaking feature allows clients to invest in Danish companies by purchasing fractional shares, offering a cost-effective and diversified approach to stock investments.

Milan Galik, the company's CEO, expressed the company's dedication to providing clients with a wide array of investment options.

"Clients seeking to diversify and take advantage of new trading opportunities across geographies in Europe and around the world, can now add Danish and Czech stocks to their portfolios while benefiting from Interactive Brokers' low costs and the ability to trade products across asset classes from a single unified platform," said Milan Galik.

Trading costs for Danish stocks in this company vary depending on the commission structure chosen. For tiered pricing based on monthly volume, commissions range from 0.015% to 0.05% of the trade value, with a minimum order requirement of DKK 10.00. On the other hand, fixed pricing entails a commission of 0.05% of the trade value, with a minimum order requirement of DKK 49.00.

Regarding Czech stocks, Interactive Brokers applies a fixed commission rate of 0.15% of the trade value, with a minimum order requirement of CZK 70.

Currently, the multi-asset broker offers an extensive range of stocks and ETFs from 20 European countries. Investors can access markets in Germany, the UK, Poland, France, Hungary, Spain, Sweden, and more, providing them with diverse investment opportunities in Europe.

I have worst CS moment here. They are a bit unprofessional. Every time I called, they are always rude and rushing me. No patient, always asking me to figure out from their website.

While the platform is good. When you have a problem you can't get to speak to anyone. I have tried numerous times and you wait on hold for a long time more than 20 mins in any case and I have just abandoned the call without getting any resolution.

The web site does not always connect you may have to log on a number of times to connect. The notifications such as messages do not come up when clicked on, this also usually takes several attempts.

The platform is absolutely solid and the folks at IB work continuously to improve it. The customer service, some years ago was mediocre, has improved markedly; and is very good at the present time. The cost to trade is very competitive.I would recommend the platform.
