Cyprus-based international broker Exness donated €300,000 to rebuild the Eptagonian Fire Station and support reforestation in the Cyprus Forest Fires.

Multi-asset broker based in Limassol, Exness, provided €300,000 in financial support to help rebuild areas affected by the fires near Larnaca and Limassol.

Cyprus woke up to a gloomy day after being dubbed the deadliest fire in the island's history, which occurred in early July 2021, destroying buildings, farms, vast pine forests, and other vegetation. Moreover, the fire also destroyed the entire Eptagonia fire station, which was greatly important to the village and its surroundings.

Exness has always stood in solidarity with the island nation and has not hesitated to help Cyprus. On July 5, the company confirmed a donation of €300,000 to the areas affected by the tragedy. The funds were used to rebuild the Eptagonian Fire Station and support reforestation in the affected areas.

"The fire incident is the worst tragedy for Cyprus. As members of the Cypriot community in which we operate, we cannot remain silent and have an obligation to act," said CEO of Exness, Petr Valov.
