Daylight Savings Time (DST) is a system of advancing the clock (usually by one hour) during warmer months to have slower nights. In short, this system aims to "save daylight" in summer. The implementation of daylight savings time in summer appeared by advancing the official time one hour ahead of the standard time zone. Therefore, a day would be 23 hours from late winter to early spring.

Please note that these time zone changes may affect trader EAs, custom indicators, or other tools, and some traders may need to adjust the relevant trading time settings before the Daylight Savings Time date arrives.

IC Markets' adjustments to trading schedules for most currencies and commodities will not be affected by DST changes in the United States. However, some trading instruments may open 1 hour earlier on Monday morning as not all regions are open than the US. The broker has prepared several up-to-date trading schedules for the US MT4/MT5 and cTrader DST with GMT+3 time zone.
