The IG Group reports that Jonathan Moulds, IG's Independent Senior Non-Executive Director has purchased 100,000 shares in the broker in a transaction dated 19 May 2022. As the price per share is £7,0265, the total price is £702,650.
Jonathan Molds is Chairman of Litigation Capital Management Limited, an AIM-listed financial firm. Before IG, Moulds has also worked in the US, Asia and the UK during his career, one of which was Barclays Group Chief Operating Officer until 2016.
Prior to Barclays, Moulds had a 20-year career at Bank of America and Merrill Lynch International following the merger of the two institutions in 2008, with responsibility for overseeing the European branch of Bank of America's business. He is also a member of Bank of America's Global Operations Committee.
His experience also includes serving as Chair of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) from 2004 to 2008, and as Director of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME). Jonathan is a member of the Senior Capital Markets Practitioner of the UK Financial Services Authority, and the Global Financial Markets Association. Besides, his amazing reputation as a first-class honor mathematician from the University of Cambridge also contributes to why IG Group has entrusted their shares to him.
