Presidents Day, also known as Washington's Birthday, falls on the third Monday of February each year and is a federal holiday in the United States. Memorial day intends to honor not only George Washington (born February 22), the first president of the United States, and Abraham Lincoln (born February 12) but all presidents who have served in the United States.
This holiday day gave rise to weakness in the trading market in the days before and after. Liquidity could wear thin with skyrocketing volatility and widening spreads throughout the holiday. It had an overwhelming impact on the Currency pairs market as there are various significant risks when trading in this period.
