eToro releases options trading in the US which is part of the company's continuous diversification of its offerings.
Israeli multinational social investment and trading network, eToro, has introduced options trading to its users as part of its 'sustainable diversification' of its offerings in the United States. This new offering is in addition to eToro's existing stock, exchange-traded fund (ETF), and crypto assets on its trading platform.
eToro has announced the launch of eToro Options, the new social options trading platform by eToro USA Securities Inc, just three months after the trading platform signed a definitive agreement to acquire Gatsby, a commission-free stock and options trading company, for $50 million.
To allow its users to the exciting world of options trading, eToro integrated Gatsby into its ecosystem, by authorizing simple access to the assets, information, and tools.

Also talking about the new platform, Jeff Myers, Co-Founder of Gatsby, notes that options trading is not always accessible to everyday investors despite its long existence.
