eToro has released new features on its platform, and it includes sentiment of economic news, earnings reports, and more.
The online broker eToro has added a number of new features to its platform. Unfortunately, this service is only available in English regardless of what language setting the client uses. But in the near future, eToro hopes to add more languages.
Through these new features, you can see the sentiment of economic news, whether negative, neutral, or positive along with a graph that combines the sentiment of content over time, so you can read the influence of news sentiment trends on an asset.
One of the features that eToro brings is the Earning Report which allows clients to make timely investment decisions. The eToro system will ten news stories based on your trading and investment history and interests which will appear on the home page. The Earnings report will be displayed in the newsfeed of the relevant asset. If you want to view ALL Earnings Reports, please click "view all" to visit the calendar webpage. If you want to create a calendar notification for a specific news release event, click on the event description, and there, you can the calendar option you want to use, such as Google Calendar or Apple iCal.
In addition to the above features, eToro has also added a "News" tab to the assets page to provide more insight and context about the assets listed. This tab contains news feeds about specific assets from tier 1 financial/business media publishers. This platform with advanced trading tools believes that having a quality contextual newsfeed will help clients make more well-read investment decisions. Sadly, the News Tab feature is currently only available to live account users who have made deposits.
But clients shouldn't be worried as the brokerage is gradually rolling out the Personalized News Feed feature. Before long, some eToro clients will be able to see posts classified as "Most Relevant" or "Recent" on their news feed/homepage.
