Can a "Stop Loss" pending order be activated at a price worse than the one specified in the order?

Salvatore Romano:

I don't know if you've heard of such a concept as a gap, but it's stated in every broker's trading conditions. Of course, there are situations in the market where there are simply no quotes for the price indicated in your stop loss. Such situations occur when important news is released, when a position moves through a weekend.
In this case the stop loss is closed at the nearest available price to the price specified in the order.
This applies to all brokers, not only to AAFX Trading broker. But here at least the spreads are minimal and the quotes are fair.
