XTB continues its commitment to strengthen its business scale to lead the advancement of technology strategies in the investment sector. Responding to increasing client demand, the company recruited e-commerce and technology expert Adam Dubiel as chief product and technology officer (CTO) starting in September.

Although XTB is still often associated with companies in the retail industry, the fintech company has increasingly focused on developing mobile apps and xStation trading software for more than a decade. It led to a significant change for hiring specialist IT developers, who now account for 40% of the workforce. With Dubiel as its new leader, the company hopes to strengthen its vision of creating a comfortable and comprehensive investment experience.

Member of the board of directors of XTB, Filip Kaczmarzyk, commented, "Innovation and new products are key elements in implementing a modern technology-based investment business strategy, which is why we are investing heavily in our Technology Division."

Before joining XTB, Dubiel spent more than ten years serving as CTO at Allegro, a leader in the Polish e-commerce industry. It proves that most of his professional experience focuses on strategic planning and technological innovation.

In his new role, Dubiel will be responsible for XTB's product and technology development, including introducing innovative solutions related to artificial intelligence (AI). He will lead a team of over 400 professionals in software engineering, IT infrastructure management, product management, UX, data analytics, and data science.
