IC Markets expands its customer pools by introducing a global campaign in front of thousand of spectators at Rugby World Cup Sevens through a commercial ad.

One of the world's largest Forex and CFD brokers, IC Markets, launched a new global marketing campaign in front of thousands of spectators at the Rugby World Cup Sevens tournament held at DHL Stadium Cape Town, South Africa.

The campaign is a video ad that will be shown in 10 countries over the next few months. The South African creative agency and production house Silver Bullet Films were behind the commercial. The advertisement aims to encourage traders to trade and experience the superior benefits of the ASIC-regulated broker.

Commenting on the campaign IC Markets CEO Andrew Budzinski said: "Top Gun is an iconic film and is fundamentally about using skill and the right tools to harness potential and to achieve goals. Shot outside Johannesburg by award-winning Executive Creative Director Wayne de Lange, this new ad campaign is IC Markets' first major TV campaign since 2021.

IC Markets chose the capital city of South Africa as a shooting location in recognition of its success in the country since its launch in 2020. The decision to support the South African film industry follows IC Market's recent partnership with Rugby World Cup Sevens held in Cape Town.
