IC Markets confirmed a change in trading schedule during Australia DST. Trading hours for some instruments will change in MT4/MT5 and cTrader.

Recently, IC Markets, a leading global multi-asset broker, released adjustments to the trading schedule as Australia will end Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, 2nd April 2023.

Daylight Savings Time (DST) is a system that advances the clock (usually by an hour) during the warmer months. Therefore, a day becomes 23 hours from late winter to early summer. Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 am (3 am Daylight Saving Time) on the first Sunday in April, when clocks are put back one hour.

In Australia, Daylight saving is observed in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory, and Norfolk Island, but not in Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Christmas Island, or the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Please note that these time zone changes may affect trader EAs, custom indicators, or other tools, and some traders may need to adjust the relevant trading time settings before the Daylight Savings Time date arrives.

IC Markets' other currencies and commodities will remain unaffected by Australian DST changes. However, there will be changes to the trading hours of some trading instruments due to DST. The broker has prepared several new trading schedules for MT4/MT5 and cTrader DST AU with GMT+3 time zone.
