Exness maintains its commitment to being a part of technological development as a sponsor of the Cyprus Robotex event.

Fintech company Exness, based in Limassol and a faithful supporter of technology, education, and innovation in Cyprus, stood as a platinum sponsor of the 5th Robotex robotics competition. This largest local festival of educational robotics, taking place at the University of Cyprus Sports Center on June 25 and 26, 2022, was initiated by the Cyprus Computer Society.

This robotics competition focused on the robots' challenges, such as LINE FOLLOWING, where they had to navigate obstacles; the MAZE, where they had to escape a labyrinth; the FOLKRACE, a rally race; and the SUMO, based on Japanese wrestling, as well as the new GIRLS FIRE-FIGHTING, a girls-only competition to attract more women to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics education). Numerous computing and robotics vendors successfully inspired visitors.

The Director of CSR at Exness, Martin Thorvaldsson, commented, "Here at Exness, it gives us great pleasure and pride to see such events take place on our island. We believe that education is the bedrock of our future. If we want to compete in the global science and technology market we need more events and initiatives such as Robotex."

Thorvaldsson also perceived that being a part of an event that helps kids and adults explore the possibilities of technology is certainly inspiring.
