Australian-based broker, TMGM is starting to participate and take social responsibility to protect the future of the ocean. This is based on the fact that Australia has a population of 85% living within 50 kilometers of the coastline with severely damaged marine ecology.

Project Sapphire's mission is to educate and inspire Australians to come together to take action to protect the oceans. The Sapphire project will provide a platform to showcase organizations like TMGM that are actively engaged in marine conservation and connect the Australian philanthropic community to this severely underfunded area.
In 2022, Project Sapphire will focus on the theme "Revitalization – Collective Action for the Ocean", focusing on a world heritage site, one of the world's seven natural wonders, the largest living structure on earth, and one of the most famous in Australia: the Great Barrier Reef. Global warming has caused the Great Barrier Reef to experience repeated bleaching events, and if global warming adds more than 2 degrees Celsius, we can expect to lose up to 98% of coral reefs worldwide.
