London-listed global CFD broker Plus500 Ltd announced the resignation of Anne Grim, senior independent non-executive and non-executive director, after her three-year term of office expired under the provisions of the Israeli Companies Law, 5759-1999. Based on its official website, the fintech company plans to hold an EGMS in 2023 to re-recruit him as director to the same position by the provisions of the PT Law.
Anne Grim joined Plus500 as a board member in 2020. She began a three-decade professional career, serving in senior leadership roles at leading financial institutions, including Barclays, Wells Fargo, American Express, and Mastercard. He was also responsible as Chief Customer Officer at Fidelity International. Much of his professional experience focuses on customer experience, strategic planning and execution, technology innovation, and business transformation.
Additionally, the multi-asset broker announced the appointment of Professor Varda Liberman, Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Regulation & Risk Committee, as a senior independent director to replace Grimm. This step will have an immediate effect to avoid a long-term vacancy in the role.
Plus500 also underlines its commitment to creating satisfactory financial performance, offering its customers various investment products, including forex, CFDs, and shares. This company recorded that net profit for the first half of 2023 inclines from $126 million to $147 million. However, its revenue fell 28% to $368 million, consisting of $346 million in trading income and $22 million in interest income.
