Chief Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Officer OANDA, David Hodge, planned to step down next year from his position after 4 years working with the company.
After joining OANDA for 4 years, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, David Hodge, decided to resign from his position. Hodge has been in finance since 2008 and has accumulated a wealth of experience, including being the Marketing Director of the IG Group overseeing global marketing operations in 14 markets, including the UK, Europe, APAC, and the Americas for three years.
In October 2011, Hodge moved to Alpari (UK), became Chief Marketing Officer, then Chief Operating Officer, and ultimately spent the remainder of his time at Alpari as Chief Executive Officer for three and a half years.
David Hedge’s Contributions to OANDA
Prior to serving as Chief Executive Officer for the EMEA region, Hodge worked as Chief Commercial Officer at CMC Markets. Later, he was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer Global OANDA in May 2020.
Officially, David Hodge's resignation will occur next spring. OANDA itself has confirmed the news and is currently looking for a replacement to oversee EMEA operations and the position of Chief Revenue Officer. He is currently working on the commitments he has agreed to.
During his time at OANDA, Hodge has led many ambitious marketing campaigns, including the launch of an affiliate program earlier this year where clients can earn up to $600 if they successfully invite their friends to join the broker.
