OANDA promotes Mark Chesterman to manage the company's risk management framework as Chief Risk Officer.
Forex broker OANDA strengthened its management by appointing Mark Chesterman as the new Chief Risk Officer. Experienced in the foreign exchange market, Mark joined the forex and CFD broker in 2019 as Head of Trading, responsible for leading the global trading team, quantitative analytics and research group from the company's London office.
In his new role, Mark will work with the executive team to manage OANDA's risk management framework, such as the exposure management and capital modeling functions across the group. With a career of nearly 14 years, he joined senior management to bring a hands-on approach to international risk management.
Prior to joining OANDA, Chesterman spent most of his career with IG Markets. During his 10-year tenure, he held various positions, including Head of FX and Futures. Most recently he served as Chief Operating Officer at Stater Global Markets.
