CFD and Forex Broker IC Markets becomes the Official Global Partner for the Rugby World Cup Sevens, which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa between 9-11 September 2022.
The Rugby World Cup Sevens will run over three days at the Cape Town Stadium featuring 24 men's teams and 16 women's teams from around the world. In addition to the ASIC-regulated company, other global partners include DHL, Castle Lite, FNB and TUDOR.
Over the course of three days, an estimated 165,000+ fans will travel to South Africa to watch the match, which will take on a festival atmosphere on a global scale. The three-day carnival of high-octane rugby action marks the reopening of South Africa's tourism and is expected to bring millions of dollars into the country's economy.
Under the contract, the IC Markets brand will gain exposure to live and broadcast viewers to approximately 31.5 million fans in 224 territories worldwide, and 23.4 million through social engagement.
