Multi-asset broker OANDA launches crypto trading for US clients which were developed with a regulated blockchain infrastructure platform, Paxos Trust Company.
Online multi-asset trading service provider, OANDA, has launched a crypto trading offering on the US Market which was developed in partnership with a regulated blockchain infrastructure platform, Paxos Trust Company.
The broker detailed that US-based investors can now view trades on the Paxos'itBit exchange from the OANDA mobile app. The broker and Paxos also announced their partnership in creating a crypto trading ecosystem in September.
In her explanation, Jessica Beckstead, Managing Director, North America, and US CEO said that the decision to add crypto access to the popular forex trading platform OANDA was made in response to the needs of active traders so giving them the ability to trade according to their personal style was vital.
The IIROC-regulated broker explained that by opening a Paxos account, funding and trading activities could be managed in an application so that investors can access significant cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and PAX Gold against the US dollar from the platform.
On another occasion, Gavin Bambury, Chief Executive Officer of OANDA explained that as more Americans seek exposure to cryptocurrencies, it is becoming increasingly clear that digital assets must be part of a unified trading experience for active traders and sophisticated investors.
Gavin Bambury added that the company's Partnership with Paxos continues the growth trajectory as the regulated blockchain infrastructure, makes it possible to provide clients with access to crypto trading thus having a fast and secure route to the digital economy.
