Tools for Strategy Providers

Exness offers various features and tools that strategy providers can use to optimize strategy creation, reach out to investors, and evaluate existing strategies. Here are some of the tools and features of Exness social trading apps that strategy providers can utilize.

Strategy Creation

Strategists can use the Exness Social Trading platform to create and manage their trading strategies. A strategy provider can set a strategy's account type, commission, and leverage initially. Meanwhile, the strategy's name, description, commission rate, and minimum investment amount can be edited from the Personal Area after the strategy is created by clicking on the cog icon to bring up its settings.

Trading Realibility Level (TRL)

Trading Reliability Level (TRL) is a measurement tool of how well a strategy provider manages their trading risks. It is calculated by combining two factors: safety score and value at risk (VaR) score. The safety score measures how likely it is that a strategy provider will lose all of their capital, while the VaR score measures how much money a strategy provider could potentially lose in a worst-case scenario.

Your TRL reflects your historical performance across all strategies and funds, indicating how reliable you are as a trader. Having a high TRL increases the probability of investors choosing to invest with you. Maintaining a high TRL score is essential to retain investor loyalty and attract new investors to copy your strategy.

Exness categorizes TRL levels into 3 i.e:

  • 0-40: Low score
  • 41-70: Medium score
  • 71-100: High score

Lower TRL scores can result in restrictions on strategies and funds, including on maximum investment amounts and new investor participation. Strategy Providers can invite investors, add investors to strategies, and start allocation only if they have a significant TRL.

News Feed

The News Feed is a section of the social trading platform where strategy providers can share updates with their investors. These updates include information about the strategy's performance, upcoming trades, and any other relevant news or information.

As a Strategy Provider in Exness Social Trading, you have the ability to write updates to investors in your native language using the translator feature. It is crucial to take advantage of this feature and regularly provide performance updates to investors. By doing so, you can build trust and loyalty among investors, ensuring they stay informed about your trading activities and performance.

Statistics

Statistics is a tool in the Exness social trading app that allows strategy providers to view the return and equity of a strategy.

Here is a more detailed explanation of each metric:

Return

This metric shows how much money the strategy has made or lost over a period of time. These daily stats calculate the user's change in equity from the beginning of the month until the end of the month and offsets any deposits/withdrawals.

The calculation considers different periods determined by specific actions such as account deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers, collectively referred to as balance operations (BO). The return value is determined by multiplying these periods between balance operations and presenting it as a percentile.

In other words, whenever a strategy provider withdraws or deposits, the return calculation is not influenced at all to prevent artificial results.

The profitability of your strategy is determined by the return percentage it generates. A higher return percentage indicates a more profitable strategy. Investors are naturally drawn to strategies with high returns, so it is important to aim for a high percentage return to make your strategy more appealing to potential investors.

Equity

The strategy's account equity represents the total available funds, calculated by considering profits, losses, deposits, and withdrawals. Having higher equity in the strategy account makes it more trusted and desirable to investors. Therefore, it is crucial to grow and maintain a positive equity level.

When the strategy's equity reaches 0 or falls into negative territory, a stop-out occurs. This leads to the automatic closure of all open trades in the strategy. Sometimes, this can result in a negative balance for the strategy, and investments mirroring the strategy may also reflect negative equity.

It is important for strategy providers to manage their equity effectively and take measures to prevent negative equity, as it can impact both the strategy's performance and the investments associated with it.

Orders Tab

Orders show all open orders as well as a history of orders made on the strategy. Tapping any item in the list will expand its details.

Commissions Reports

As a strategy provider at Exness, it's crucial to understand how much commission you've earned. Exness provides a Commission Report that details your commission earnings by investment, as well as lifetime statistics.

To access your Commission Report, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Exness Personal Area.
  2. Click on the "Social Trading" tab.
  3. Click on the "Commission Report" button next to the strategy you want to view.

In the Commission Reports tab, strategy providers will be presented with some detailed data and information below:

  • Total commission: This is the total amount of commission you have earned from all investments, both closed and open.
  • Earned commission: This is the amount of commission you have earned from closed investments.
  • Floating commission: This is the amount of commission you have earned from open investments.
  • Total investments: This is the total number of investments you have made.
  • AUM (Assets Under Management): This is the total amount of money that is under your management.
  • Average investment duration: This is the average length of time that an investment remains open.
    Filtering Commission Reports.

To make it easier to see the data and information presented, strategy providers can filter data with 3 criteria, i.e:

  • Trading period: You can view your commission reports for a specific period, such as the past month or year.
  • Commission status: You can view your commission reports for earned, floating, or all commissions.
  • Profitability: You can analyze your commission reports for profitable, unprofitable, or all investments.

The status of the investment is shown as either "Active" or "Closed. An active investment is one that is still open. A closed investment is one that has been closed, either by the investor or the strategy provider.

When is the Commision Paid?

Commission for strategy providers is paid out at the end of a trading period. The duration of the trading period is one calendar month, ending on the last Friday at 23:59:59 UTC+0, with a new trading period starting immediately after.

At the end of the trading period, all investors' open trades are automatically closed before the Exness Social Trading platform reopens those trades instantly, at the same price, with zero spread. The calculated commission is then transferred to the strategy provider's Social Trading Commission account in their Personal Area and can be used for trading, transfers, or withdrawals.

The entire process is completely automated for your convenience and is required so that the strategy provider's commission is paid accurately.

How is the Strategy Provider's Commission Calculated?

When an investor makes a profit by copying a trading strategy, they must pay a commission fee to the strategy provider. The commission fee is set by the strategy provider and is typically a percentage of the profit made. It is calculated at the end of a trading period or when the investor stops copying the strategy.

Exness has 2 formulas for calculating commissions that are categorized based on the situation and conditions of the strategy provider. Here is the first formula:

Investment Commission (USD) = (Equity + Paid Commission) - (Invested amount + Copy dividends) x %commission - (Paid Commission)

Example
The investor's starting investment balance is USD2,000 and the commission fee is set at 10%. The investor makes a profit of USD1,000 and their investment equity at the end of the trading period is USD4,000. The investor has previously paid a commission amounting to USD150. The strategy provider has previously chosen to withdraw a part of their profit from the strategy and a proportionate amount of USD200 is withdrawn from the investment account.

Calculated commission = (Equity + Paid Commission) - (Invested amount + Copy dividends) × %commission - (Paid Commission)

= (4000 + 150) - (2000 + 200) x 10% - 150

= 2050 x 10% - 150

= 205 - 150

= USD55

Therefore, the investor's investment balance will be USD4,000 - USD55 = USD3945 after paying the commission.

Meanwhile, If there is no previously paid commission, the commission formula will be:

Investmen Commission (USD) = (Equity - Invested amount + Copy dividends) x % commision

Example
An investor starts a new investment with a new strategy provider. The investment's starting balance is USD500. The commission fee set by the strategy provider is 10%. An investor makes a profit of USD3,000 and their investment equity at the end of the trading period is USD2,000.

Calculated commission = (Equity - Invested_amount + Copy dividends) x %commission

= (3000 - 500 + 0) x 10%

= 2500 x 10%

= USD 250

Therefore, the investor's investment balance will be USD2,725 after paying the commission.

To clarify, here is an explanation of the terms in the formula above.

  • Equity: Current investment equity
  • Paid Commission: Total paid commission paid for all previous trading periods from the creation of strategy.
  • Copy dividends: A proportion of withdrawn profit from the strategy provider.
  • Invested amount: Investment's starting balance.
  • %commission: Commission rate set by the strategy provider at the time of investment opening.

For anyone who is still confused about how to calculate commissions, you can reach out to Exness support via live chat.

How to Make Your Strategies More Attractive for Investors

There are some important tips to increase your strategy's popularity and attract investors to copy your strategy, here are the details:

  • Choose a Clear and Eye-Catching Strategy Name
Your strategy name is the first thing investors will see, so it's important to make it clear, eye-catching, and spelled correctly. Avoid using all caps or special characters, as this can make your strategy name look unprofessional.

  • Set Appropriate Strategy Settings
Investors will want to know how much risk they are taking when they copy your strategy. Consider setting appropriate leverage, commission, and minimum investment amount settings.

  • Upload a Professional Profile Picture
Your profile picture is another way for investors to get to know you. Upload a professional headshot that makes you look trustworthy and competent.

  • Write a Detailed Bio
Your bio is your chance to tell investors more about yourself and your trading style. Be sure to include your trading experience, education, and any other relevant information.

  • Mention Your Educational platform
To enhance credibility and attract investors, Strategy Providers are encouraged to mention an educational platform. This can include listing forex training programs, webinars, and even a forex training blog if you have one.

By providing an educational platform, Strategy Providers demonstrate their expertise and commitment to sharing knowledge. This automatically boosts their credibility and makes their strategy more attractive to potential investors.

In addition to the points above, strategy providers should also be aware of the dos and don'ts of utilizing the Exness Social Trading platform. You can find them in the following table:

✔️Do's ❌Don'ts
Be transparent: Investors want to know who they are investing with and how their money is being managed. Be sure to provide clear and concise information about your trading strategy, risk parameters, and performance. Don't be complicated: Investors are busy people, so they don't have time to read a long, rambling About section. Get to the point quickly and concisely.
Be consistent: Investors are more likely to follow strategists who have a proven track record of success. Be consistent with your trading strategy and risk parameters. Don't oversell your strategy: Don't overhype your strategy or make promises you can't keep. Investors will be able to tell if you're being dishonest, and they'll be less likely to copy your strategy.
Be Communicative: Keep your followers updated on your trading activity and any changes to your strategy. This will help to build trust and confidence. Don't be afraid to show your personality: Investors want to invest in people they can trust. Let your personality shine through in your About section.

Hey folks, I believe this offer has great potential. The provider strategy's high commission of up to 50% is quite impressive. Having been a trader for six years, I'm eager to keep growing and consider becoming an Exness strategy provider. Pretty cool, right? But before diving in, there are a few details I'd like to clarify about the Exness Social trading platform.

I'd like to inquire about the steps to open a social provider account. Could you also explain the terms and conditions I must meet to qualify as a legitimate strategy provider? Additionally, could you highlight the benefits of becoming a strategy provider? Your assistance is greatly appreciated, folks.

The Exness Social Trading app offers an engaging platform for sharing trading strategies that investors can replicate, and it comes packed with a variety of features. Any existing Exness client can easily start using the app with their current account, enabling them to become both investors and strategy providers.

Using the Social Trading App doesn't necessitate the strategy provider to execute trades, but it does require a fully verified Exness account and a trading account. Strategy providers must configure their strategies so that investors can mirror their trading activities with their own accounts. You can follow the steps outlined in this article as a helpful guide. It's important to note that the trading account may display the "trading is disabled" error in the trading terminal if a trade was initiated before the initial qualifying deposit. This issue can be resolved by completing a successful deposit.

For strategy providers, there's an enticing advantage of potentially increasing profits through normal trading activities. All of this can be accomplished while enjoying the same award-winning support and infrastructure that Exness offers to all its clients. Additionally, you have the choice of two account types: Social Pro and Social Standard accounts. If you already have an Exness account, you can use your current login and password to register for Social Trading as a strategy provider. There are several other appealing benefits for strategy providers:

- Network Building: Establish a network of investors by creating a successful trading strategy.
- Track Record Monitoring: Cement your reputation as a top strategist with a proven track record.
- Convenience: Trade on the go, as the Social Trading app is mobile-friendly and doesn't require an additional platform.
- Regular Commissions: Commissions are regularly paid at the end of each trading period for all profitable investments.
- Strategy Control: You have the flexibility to select the commission rate that suits you best, and you can adjust it at any time. The new commission rate will apply only to new investments. Additionally, you can set a minimum investment amount for your strategy.

The article mentions that the platform offers a range of tools and features tailored for strategy providers. These include functionalities such as strategy creation, measuring Trade Reliability Level (TRL), staying updated with a News Feed, and accessing return and equity statistics.

Hey, could you break down what the Trade Reliability Level (TRL) measurement is all about? What's its significance and usefulness? Additionally, how does the News Feed feature come in handy, and what role does it play? Lastly, what benefits do we get from the return and equity statistics feature? I'm looking to understand the practical value of these tools and features.

Let me break it down for you in simple term. So, the Trade Reliability Level (TRL) thing is like a measure on the platform to tell you how reliable or trustworthy a trading strategy is. It's like your way of figuring out if a strategy or provider is consistent over time. Traders use this TRL stuff to decide if a strategy is worth their time and money, you know, making smarter choices.

Now, the News Feed is like your go-to tool for staying in the loop with what's happening in the market. In the fast-paced world of trading, getting the scoop on relevant news is key for making smart moves. This News Feed keeps you updated on economic indicators, world events, and anything else that might shake up the financial scene.

And don't forget about return and equity stats—they're like the scorecards for a trading strategy. These numbers tell you how much moolah a strategy has been pulling in over a set time and also show you the ups and downs. Traders dig into these stats to see how well a strategy has been doing historically, helping them decide if it's a winner and how to handle risks

According to the article, it suggests that to appeal to investors, strategy providers should opt for a clear and appealing strategy name, configure appropriate strategy settings, upload a professional profile photo, mention an educational platform, and provide a detailed bio. Building trust and attracting investors hinges on transparency, consistency, and effective communication.

Now, regarding the specifics of becoming a strategy provider: Firstly, is it accurate that having an enticing strategy name is crucial for attracting attention? Secondly, how can one adjust strategy settings in Exness Social Trading? Lastly, why is transparency essential, and what steps can a strategy provider take to achieve it? Is an in-depth understanding and experience in trading necessary? Additionally, does Exness implement any filtering for strategy providers? Hope there is an explanation about that, by the way thanks for providing the article!

The Trading Reliability Level (TRL) functions as an assessment tool gauging the efficacy of a strategy provider in handling trading risks, determined through the amalgamation of two key components: the safety score and the value at risk (VaR) score.

Now, the pivotal question arises: how can one increase their TRL score? In the context of Exness, TRL is categorized into three levels, ranging from 0 to 40 indicating a low score, and from 71 to 100 signifying a high score

Hey there! Elevating your Trading Reliability Level (TRL) score on platforms like Exness necessitates a multifaceted approach. To enhance the safety score, implement robust risk management practices, including disciplined stop-loss orders, a prudent safety margin, and diversified portfolios. Minimize the value at risk (VaR) score by adopting conservative position sizes and leveraging ratios, utilizing risk management tools provided by the platform. Develop a comprehensive risk management strategy aligned with your goals, regularly review risk parameters, and stay informed about market conditions for adaptive decision-making. Continuous learning about advanced risk management techniques and leveraging platform resources, such as educational materials and analytics, contributes to a resilient and informed trading approach. By integrating these detailed strategies, traders can systematically improve their TRL score, fostering a higher reliability level and a secure foundation for successful trading on platforms like Exness.

When diving into becoming a strategy provider, there are a few things you gotta think about. First off, does having a catchy strategy name really make a big diff in getting noticed? Then, how do you mess around with strategy settings on Exness Social Trading? And why is it so important to keep things transparent, and what can you do to make sure you're transparent? Do you need to be a trading whiz to pull this off? Also, does Exness sort through strategy providers in any way? Just curious if the article covers all that. Thanks for sharing it with me!

It seems like you're interested in becoming a strategy provider on Exness Social Trading platform. Let's address each of your questions based on my experience!

  • Catchy strategy name: Yeah, having a cool strategy name can grab attention. It's like giving your strategy a personality. Just make sure it actually reflects what you're doing, so people don't feel misled.

  • Adjusting settings on Exness: On Exness Social Trading, tweaking your strategy settings is pretty straightforward. They usually give you tools to play around with stuff like risk levels and what you're trading. Just be smart about it, considering what's happening in the market.

  • Transparency is key: Being open about your strategy is a big deal. People want to know what they're getting into. Keep your followers in the loop about how you're doing, what your goals are, and any changes you're making. It builds trust.

  • Expertise matters, but not a deal-breaker: You don't have to be a trading guru to succeed, but it helps to know your stuff. Understanding how markets work, managing risks, and keeping up with strategies can definitely up your game.

  • Exness filters: Exness probably has filters to weed out the noise and make sure only legit strategies get through. They likely look at things like experience, performance, and risk management to keep things legit.

Hope it can clear your question!
