Sean Ma was named Head of Saxo Institutional by Saxo Bank Hong Kong. His work includes overseeing wholesale client businesses and direct B2B clients in Greather China.

Online trading and investment specialist Saxo Bank Hong Kong branch, Saxo Capital Markets HK Limited announced the appointment of Sean Ma as Head of Saxo Institutional for the entire Greater China region.

Saxo Institutional's scope of work includes wholesale client businesses and direct B2B clients. Wholesale clients such as banks, brokers, wealth managers and fintech companies around the world, have been leveraging the Saxo Group's digital Business-as-a-service (Baas) value chain since 2001.

By collaborating with Saxo Bank, they are able to provide a wide range of products and services. a comprehensive investment through a digital platform, without the need for large capital or difficulty managing the system because it is fully managed by BaaS.

In his job, Ma will be responsible for leading the Institutional team, exploring business opportunities, and driving growth in the China region. Ma also reports to Ivan Chang, Regional Head of Saxo Institutional APAC and Richard Douglas, CEO of Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Saxo, Ma had a career in a leading financial institution related to FinTech. With more than a decade of experience, Ma has experience holding multiple senior management roles while leading teams to break even within a year. Half of his career time is spent in Hong Kong and the other half in mainland China.
