June has started sick leave from the company since July 4. At that time, she claimed her absence was temporary for short-term sick leave. Meanwhile, Charlie Rose took on day-to-day responsibilities as CEO while carrying out his role in his original position. It is a decision to balance the execution of the company's strategy, considering June's influence at IG Group for almost five years.

Charlie has solid industry experience in the financial industry, starting his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Other experiences include executives at IBM, Bank of America, Barclays plc, and Group Finance Director at Jardine Lloyd Thompson plc.
