Exness recorded the highest trading volume in January at $2.82 trillion. Additionally, the number of active clients on the platform also increased.

A leading retail forex and CFD brokerage worldwide based in Cyprus, Exness, reported that trading volume in January was the busiest month of all time, surpassing the record high of $2.81 trillion set by the company last August.

The multi-asset broker's January trading volume was $2.82 trillion, up 12 percent from December's $2.52 trillion. The figure was affected by growing volatility; volume has increased by almost 87 percent from $1.51 trillion in January 2022.

The volume in 2021 was $820 billion. The figure was affected by higher volatility following the central bank's policy announcements, soaring to a record level of over $2.3 billion over the past year due to trading activity. This rise was related to the ongoing restructuring of the firm's business, and so authorized by the FCA as an IFPRU €730K firm. After closing the January report, the brokerage marked the 11th consecutive month trading volume above $2 trillion.
