ADS Securities London Limited (ADSSL) announced cutting off its UK operation. The Abu Dhabi-based brokerage group decided to refocus on other entities within the group as part of its strategic plan. ADSS applied for its Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) license in 2012 and ended it in 2023.

"The ADSS Group remains well-capitalized and continues to be focused on its growth strategy," ADSS said. "The wind-down of ADSSL will be done in an orderly manner in accordance with our FCA obligations and we remain available to answer any questions you may have."

The regulator confirmed the ADSS's move and said that the company stopped the license in June 2023, will close the service there, and will abort to manage clients from its entity

In recent years, the broker reduced its service to retail and professional clients. As its reason for leaving the UK, institutional investors will be its main focus. The last ADSS's financial reports were pretty good, although there was some shrinkage of 34% in its income when the local entity's transfer pricing activities were deducted. ADSS said that it is because of a continued pivot from an institutional-led offering to that one centered around professional clients.
