After staying low profile for a long time, international forex broker AGEA today (21/11) sent out announcement to clients that they have launched a brand new AGEA WebTrader. The platform can be accessed through desktop, tablet, and handphone, and is available in nine languages, including English, Indonesian, Malay, Urdu, and Chinese.
Amid the rising trend among forex brokers to diversify their trading platform, AGEA apparently turned back to their legendary proprietary platform that has netted them a large number of cult follower: the Streamster. AGEA WebTrader clearly is an upgraded version of Streamster. It provides an all-in-one trading station where traders can analyze charts and execute orders, receive news updates, observe fundamental calendar, and chat with fellow traders. However, unlike the Streamster that has to be installed in the PC first, AGEA WebTrader is a web-based platform and could be accessed through browser, consequently increasing the ease by which AGEA clients could access the platform whenever and wherever although a Streamster-installed PC is not on hand.
In the style of Streamster, AGEA WebTrader has limited technical indicators, but the chart is available in eight timeframes: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 4 hours, daily, weekly, and monthly; making it suitable for scalpers, day-traders, and even swingers. There are also a considerable number of instruments up to be traded, including 17 currency pairs, six indices, silver, and gold. As it is basically an upgraded Streamster, login to the WebTrader could easily be done with Streamster username and password.
Beside of launching the WebTrader, AGEA also roll out MT4 Fixed Spread Account. Previously, AGEA only has four kinds of account: the Streamster (floating spread, swap-free), MT4 Standard, MT4 Cent, and MT4 STP. However, informations on the new MT4 Fixed Spread Account is not yet complete. Clients who are interested in the new account is advised to contact AGEA support personnel.
