Due to the Summer Bank Holiday in the UK, LiteFinance announced the adjusted trading schedule in August. All schedule changes are available here.

Trusted forex and CFD broker, LiteFinance, has recently released an adjustment to its trading schedule during August 2023 in connection with the Summer Bank Holiday in the United Kingdom, which will occur on Monday, 28 August.

Summer Bank Holiday is a public holiday in four constituent countries, marking a public holiday, and schools and most businesses are closed. A summer bank holiday was introduced in 1871 to allow bank employees to attend cricket matches. Exactly one hundred years later, the Banking and Financial Affairs Act of 1971 moved this bank holiday to the last Monday in August for several regions, including the UK.

This holiday day gave rise to weakness in the trading market in the days before and after. It means Liquidity could wear thin with skyrocketing volatility and widening spreads. It poses a disadvantage to the currency pairs market as trading during this period carries significant risks.

However, LiteFinance has prepared several updated trading schedules to help traders open trading positions during the holiday season. All times mentioned below are Platform time (GMT+3).
