Order Execution Problems

I had a disappointing experience at FBS. At some point, suddenly the price in the forex market became unstable and my order closed with a huge loss due to slippage. My order arrived in TP within seconds but it didn't close my TP position! I know exactly that I see the line touching my TP! I really don't mind if the slide hits my TP and my position doesn't close or else the slide hits the SL and bounces back quickly and doesn't close. I also understand that sometimes slippage can happen. But actually what really disappointed me after it didn't close in TP position, was for a second later the price line didn't hit SL suddenly closed automatically. So yeah, I'm losing my money. What's wrong with FBS, can you handle more "correct" slip timing?

I hate how they still listed themselves as a PAMM provider, but they don't have this anymore. This is misleading information for any new clients out there. I'm lucky that I found out pretty quickly, if not then I may be in for a big surprise. They also claim to have good latency as well, but I find it pretty slow, there are even times when my order goted due to connections issue on their parts. But, other than that they are not bad. I mean they have good spreads and all that. They also have vast options for deposit and withdrawal as well.

Why doesn't this broker let me close my positions??? I open three trading positions and all three of them are profiting. I was trying to close it and get some profit, but it won't let me!

I tried to contact customer service and it's no use. My positions are now at loss; for some reason, I CAN close them. So annoying!!

So, here's the deal with this broker, guys. Overall, they seem pretty decent, but there's this one annoying issue I encountered – major lag on the quotes. It was driving me crazy, and when I asked about it, their explanation of blaming my internet service provider didn't sit right with me. I mean, come on, I was running two other live accounts with different brokers simultaneously, and they had a smooth quote flow!

Yeah, I admit, I only had a tiny account and blew it (oops!). But the thing is, this lag issue persisted without any reasonable explanation. And that got me thinking, you know? Like, why is this happening? Is it intentional or what?

Overall, the broker is okay, but this lag problem made me skeptical. I hope they can address this issue and provide a better explanation in the future. As a GenZ trader, I expect seamless performance, and that includes smooth quote flow.

So, I need a VPS since I keep having connection issues during the most important time. I do not think it's because the broker cheats on me. I already checked and it is indeed because of my connections.

I truly hope this broker has a VPS service that I can get. It would be great if I can get it for free. I tend to trade aggressively so I think I can fulfill the main requirements. However, I don't mind paying as well.

I am so disappointed to find out that FXOpen does not open a PAMM account anymore! I just wanted to Invest in PAMM or MAM account, not free trade. What's worse is that they still have it n their website, this is very misleading information. The original reason why I open an account is because of the PAMM. What should I do if they don't have it anymore, geez?

On the other hand, I have to say that opening an account in this broker was a bit better than some other sites I looked at. It's quick and simple, and I think even the novice trader can do it with no problem. However, for now, I will withhold my funds since I am not sure what to do with my account. I might take all my money and leave.

Unfortunately, this broker only has one type of trading platform available. That is the MT4 trading platform. In a way, this is actually all they need because most people use MT4 anyway. But, this kinda limits my choice as I am more of an MT5 kind of gal. But anyway, I make sacrifices and decide that I'll be fine with MT4. It was actually pretty smooth. All my trades were also executed smoothly. Furthermore, it is available in mobile trading as well. So I guess it is really good for a mobile trader like me.

Overall it is a very good broker for beginners or for people who generally love simplicity. It offers a great learning experience and analytics training module. It also has one of the best execution speeds which I am very satisfied with! I would love to give them 5 stars, but there are several things that I wish they have.

1. Wire transfer posibility.
2. ETF products.

If they have these two features, FBS would be even better than any other broker in its class.

I love how smoothly their trading terminal goes. So far this is the best trading experience I have ever tried. Transactions are executed quickly, which makes it the cherry on top. The only disappointing thing is that there is just one way to deposit and withdraw funds, which is by bank transfer. This does not make sense in my opinion, especially considering this is a very big broker. I hope that the company's management will come to its senses and expand the range of payments.
